from the pics phil seemed to tighten up since the O, Kai was bigger and fuller than the O but holding a slight film, if not a film, just not as diced as the 0.

I also think Phil looks like he uses an awful lot of oil and that is the main reason for his “cartoonish” / “3D” look.
No I have not personally seen him inject oil, it’s just my opinion.

Right on! It’s good to see those guys get along so well. Phil really is a good speaker and seems very natural on camera. Kai is very sarcastic and funny.
I think the brahooha (sic?) about whether Phil stepped over the line and whether he injected more oil than Kai is ignoring the fact that the sport has been ignoring its own rules since it began. As Professor X pointed out, Phil only stepping over the line is an improvement since the old school used to basically leap onto the judges. And this issue that Phil injected more ‘stuff’ than Kai? Bodybuilders injecting performance and aesthetic enhancers into their bodies is a total surprise to me. I really did not know they did this. Really. I had no idea… crazy. Just wow.
Overall Phil met the criteria for the best physique there. Kai will have to be more awesome next year.
