I dig the fact that he’s modern in terms of the quality of mass, but still has the aesthetic lines of the ‘old days’ classic style… Very happy he won and cant wait to see what more he can accomplish in the next few years
It’s seriously mind boggling when you realize just how densely muscle Huh really is. Muscle is just hanging off of him (something that blew my mind back when Yates first came on the scene). This is one of those instances (Huh winning the overall) where height puts you at a disadvantage in bodybuilding.

It’s hard to see conditioning from this distance but this is the first footage I’ve seen of the actual show. Huh had an emotional interview with Palumbo after winning that is worth watching over at RX, seems like a nice humble guy with a bright future.
Yeah the photos did Keith no justice and clearly he looks much better in the above vid…
The Rx interview on Huh was cool, I can just imagine how emotional it must be, spending all your energy on achieving a goal, and then actually achieving it…I probably would have teared up too, and I could feel his emotion. Really cool dude, and he is doing everything I want to do which is why I have taken an interest in not only his diet and training, but how he lives…I’ve said it a million times, but I would love to wife up a really gorgeous figure girl and then revolve my day around eating, training and work…That’d be an aweosme life for myself.
Kuclo’s life doesn’t sound so bad.
Train 2 on 1 off
Work 1 on 2 off (career fire fighter… my path of choice)
Good ratio lol

Haha yeah true that…although he is up over 24 hours at times at work…seems like a pretty taxing job, but he seems to be doing very well.
Yeah it’s a demanding job and his particular engine is always at the top nationally in terms of call volume. He’s not exactly relaxing on his days off from the gym like some have the luxury of doing.

You can guarantee that unless he already has sponsors, that stuff can add up quickly as far as finances. To tell the truth, I don’t see how some of those guys do it unless they are making well over 75K a year individually. I am pretty sure an average family of four could eat for what it takes to feed a bodybuilder who is over 250lbs in the off season.
Steve has been sponsored by Universal for a few years now and likely has other sponsors who help curb costs. It’s good to see big companies take on amateurs early on and help them out with all the things that bodybuilding entails.
A guy like Dusty Hanshaw is another prime example of a career minded bodybuilder, he owns several successful supplement stores and has a couple sponsors even though the USA was I think his 4th show ever.

yeah I admire that about Dusty and also Huh who own a protein smoothie shop…He is the only person working there and works 6 days a week…That’s busting ass right there…I’d love to own a supp shop or gym.
Vladimir in the not often seen inverted side triceps pose.
He’s a gymnast and has some pretty cool performance stuff on youtube if people care to look. If he didn’t have all that unfunctional sacroplasmic mass he might be able to move a little better.

Yea - it’s a real shame… ; )
Lol @ Palumbo saying he has possibly the best legs in BB. Huh just goes - “I don’t think of them like that.”
Awesome - that’s why the guy is a champ.
That did make me laugh out loud, he had such a sincere reaction and went from emotional about the whole situation to “lolwut” at that question.
Hamstrings like Tom Prince which are so rare, freaky calves that I just can’t get over and quads that aren’t lacking anywhere so it’s not a big stretch to say that really but his response was perfect and humble. He’s on youtube with a 700 lb squat for solid reps.
Wow, just watched the vid of Huh after the contest. Really touching stuff. You can tell he just put so much heart and soul into getting ready for this show. It’s a rare thing when you can honestly and truly feel happy for someone else in this world.

I think Huh will set new standards come 3 or 4 years time as to what guys should look like on the Olympia stage. His frame is god like. Glad to see guys like that are getting recognized. But Burneika is still a beast FTW !
Huh is a promising pro with some very strong points… but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.
Funny - there’s an editorial in the new Flex about the practice of calling dudes - “The Next Mr. Olympia”.
It’s an interesting read…
You can look at what happened with Zack Khan as an example of this injury wise, Trey Brewer also being the “next big thing” and if he is continuing with bodybuilding he likely won’t crack top 2-3 at any of the pro qualifiers.

I feel guys like Zack Khan, Trey Brewer, Marcus Rhul, etc need a stage of their own. The leanest they can come in is 12%. That would be an AWESOME show ! not traditional bodybuilding but it would be pretty fucking cool to see 300+ plus monsters posing. fuck shredded glutes !
