THIS.

He’s doing this years Arnold right?
It’s not really his choice, but I assume he’ll get invited.

They gave a seperate link on the webcast on the side.

Rockel seemed kind of like a douche when he got 6th.

Wolf was like YEAHHH BUDDAY when he got 5th, which was cool to see someone still happy about winning something other than 1st.

I do think Dexter deserved 4th place, because he looks the same every year.

Branch seemed a lil pissed at 3rd place

And phil heath had a great attitude about being in 2nd good to see, I think he’ll win next year though.
yea, by the sound of him in this video he wanted to win it this time. said he didnt miss a meal, cardio session, or workout in 6 months - and posed an hour a day. And it showed haha

I’d really like to see him win one of these times but with Phil Heath and Kai Greene coming up I don’t know where he’d fit in

Very classy the way Jay and Phil reacted. Jay’s FB message even gives props to his ‘best friend’ Phil, and you know Phil was damn happy taking 2nd to his buddy. Now we have to wait and see if Jay will retire with dignity, or if he’ll risk losing to Phil next year.

Me too. I’d put him as my favorite bodybuilder.

Fuck, I would really have enjoyed it if Branch won the Olympia. Don’t care if he hasn’t an “aesthitically pleasing” physique and all that bs. He had hardcore condition, really hardcore.

I don’t think Jay will win again next year. I just don’t see it happening with the way everyone else is improving. If I were him I would retire.

i had read somewhere least i think i did lol that jay had said if he won the 2010 olympia he would compete in the 2011 arnold classic try win that and retire with 4 arnolds and 4 olympias

I been looking at the pics, and there were a ton of good bodybuilders on that stage this weekend.

Butthurt about Jay winning or not… It was a great showing. Congrats to the boxcar.

Someone mentioned earlier in one of these threads, outside his calves, House looked like a little kid up there. he needs some size, serious size.

I think kai over exposed himself in the weeks leading up to the show. It would have been impossible to have a “wow” effect when we’ve seen pics the last 4 weeks.

So true. I was rather surprised by the discrepancy.
On the other hand, Troy was also outclassed by size, yet displayed such great condition, proportion, symmetry, I’d go out on a limb and say he probably had the most classically beautiful physique up there.

I mentioned that earlier as well. He missed his mark by a longshot.
And I had such high hopes for Kai.

Personally, i think it was complete bullshit that rockel was in the top6 at all.

Agreed and there is no way Wolfe deserved a top 5 finish. Wolfe was greatly improved, but it is like the judges couldn’t see anyone else on stage.

Who should have placed above them(Rockel and Wolf) that didn’t? This isn’t some challenge, I’m just curious.

I think VIc deserved a top 6. I wouldve gave wolf 6.

I’m definitely a little bummed about Kai’s placing, weeks out he looked great, but he just came in a little soft looking in the the belly and chest compared to the other guys.

Branch has just brought sick conditioning the past 2 years, it would be nice to see him win someday but I just don’t think he has “pretty” enough lines to take it, regardless of conditioning.

I really like Wolf’s return and placing. He nailed it this time.

VIC MARTINEZ should have been top 5. How the hell did both of those guys beat him out?

Vic has an incredible look and I was happy to see his leg didn’t hold him back. If he can get conditioned like the 07 Olympia or 03 NOC or an all time best showing he is right up there with the top 2-3 guys on the planet. Unfortunately being 5-10% off conditioning has a bigger impact on placing than guys lacking certain body parts or structural issues.

I don’t agree that it should be that way necessarily, but that’s how the judges score it.

I would have had Vic in the top 6 as well. Rockel shoul have been nowhere near there. I can’t make up my mind on Wolf, sure he improved over last year but that’s not what people should get judged on.

mentioned in the other thread, kai’s spill over in night one cost him, but jay fading didn’t hurt him much. nailing day one is critical.

Kai hasn’t proven whether he can be sharp like colorado pro or Australia 09 with his added size. if if if is a fairytale at this point.

props to Phil he looked as good as he can look, he beat jay in my eyes. jay has really one looked good one yr, 2009 all other wins were disputable.

Phil is heir to the crown it seems…however if Kai can get this shit right phil won’t see an Olympia title for 8+ years hahahaha it’s true.

for now though if if if ain’t getting it done, Phil keeps showing up conditioned, props to him. i think he was bigger at this O than the Arnold but harder at the Arnold.
