Although Phil has been my hope for the past 2 years, I was really looking forward to seeing what Kai would bring. But after last night’s incredible collection of competitors in phenomenal shape, Kai isn’t even on my radar screen. I think there may have been too much hype… too much exposure for Kai in the months/weeks run up.

I think Jay looks fantastic - a bodybuilder’s bodybuilder - but not as aesthetically pleasing as Phil. I felt the same way when comparing Ronnie with Flex in the '99 Olympia. Flex was robbed that year.

I hope Phil takes it, with Jay 2nd, Dex 3rd. After that, I don’t care.

Kai needs to get rid of Oscar as his coach, god damn, thats twice he’s completely missed the mark now. Wasn’t he working with Charles Glass when he looked absolutely awesome at the 2009 Arnold?

Kai was in shape, just spilled over w/ his last meal likely…and it cost him big time…all the crazy details…GONE. he was ripped to the bone in days leading up which means his re-up went wrong, as said on another site, w/ the fuck up he’s flat as a pancake / no details…truly sucks because it would have been nice to see all the top guys spot on.

Phil #1 …i think he was bigger here but harder at the Arnold (if he could be both at once, no one would even debate 1st place)

Jay #2 …not as good as last year at all, he overwhelms in the side by sides because of his width though

Warren #3 …crazy condition, not pretty but intense and he is ripped.

these top 3 could get switched around and it could go jay, branch, phil …i don’t think it should but judges and Vegas are nutty

Dexter #4 …he’s been harder but looked great, full and bigger

Wolf #5 …still not complete w/ low back/calves but he did well for himself

Victor # 6 …if he EVER could get in top shape like say dex or branch, he’s win this Contest a few times over, his leg looked fine, wheels are not his strong point though.

…where does Rochel go…the fuck if i know but no where near the top 6.

if kai recovers tonight he may fit in the 5-7 slot…we’ll see.

phil looks good, jay is fair, branch looks the best, it’s just he’s fucking ugly.

Nobody WOWed me, wherein they were the holy shit that guy is MR. OLYMPIA type of shape.

Hide the lil’ japanese guy i hope he places in the 7-9 range, he’s got a great physique.

Totally agree. like i said, Phil 1, Branch 2. Jay does NOT stack up this year. I can seriously see dex/vic battling for 3rd and jay coming in 4th or lower. Jay’s waist is back to his Coleman battling days.

I didn’t want to put it out there, because Branch seems to keep pretty private… but, I saw him in the gym last week.

He was rep’ing out 315 for 20 and 225 for 19 on seated press. He looked as intense as he does at the beginning of an off-season bulk… really impressive. He has been training like an animal this year, and it shows.

Rockel and Dexter looked superb. Heath dominated, I think it’s his to lose. Branch looked fantastic, still not a physique I like, but one I admire. This has been a brilliant Olympia so far.

I personally prefer Phil’s physique to Jay’s physique when looking at each seperately. When both are side by side… Jay is more impressive, I feel.

I think people are still drunk off of Jay’s 2009 condition, which he fucking pwned for sure, but last night was the return of his blocky ugly self. I can see Branch doing well for crazy conditioning, even though he isn’t pretty, but Jay? Dude was off his 2009 form and has an ugly build.

If Jay didn’t win last year, I bet he wouldn’t be in anyone’s top 3 right now. He just… doesn’t have it, IMO.

Maybe I’m dick riding Phil here, but fuck that. I’m one of like 4 Dexter fans. I prefer look to size at the expense of “pretty”.

Dennis James definitely looked good, and I hope he cracks the top 10 but with so many other great physiques, dunno if that’s gonna happen. Maybe a top 12 finish. Definitely looked good though.

If youre going to make contest to contest comparisons it’s not a good idea to rally behind dexter. He’s regressed since last years O. He looked better at 09 O than he did at '10 Arnold and '10 O. He isnt bigger this year and his conditioning isnt as good as it usually is. The Olympia is the place for the freaks to show off their ‘freak-factor’. Dexter has no freakiness.
