Ronnie might not be the most articulate guy out there but he is college educated(how many pros are?) and knows a thing or two about bodybuilding.

Indeed this thread took an odd turn.
What do you all expect cutler and dexter to do? If you were dex, do you try to defend the arnold, or sit the year out to try and fend off victor at the O in '09?
If you’re Cutler, retire, or try to be the only O champ to reclaim his title after defeat?
I think that Dex can do both the Arnold and the O but if he does the Arnold and loses then his credibility at the O is cut short (vic, wolf, heath, kai, all at the Arnold?). I honestly don’t see Dex winning either show next year with the lineup he will have to face.
I’d probably just do the O and then retire because I personally think the “young uns” and vic will out do him.
Remember Arnold came back out of retirement and won the O again. Not after defeat but I think it should be anybodys trophy if they can bring the right package and surprise some people.
I’d personally retire if I were Jay, he is no longer genetically what the judges are looking for.
On to Milos, if I talk to the guy and get an answer I will post that, but more or less I’ll probably get the answer from some of the guys I know that train under him. One thing about Milos is he is an ass and I don’t even want to approach him. lol

do you reckon kai is that much competition? TBH I don’t see the hype with kai, vic and heath are the only ones I’d consider challengers too dexter. Wolfe was a bitter disappointment, he has a guest posing in Melbourne coming up but I doubt I’ll go now I expected him too bring a more complete package this year at the O.
I’m glad dexter finally won, he was my favorite bodybuilders when I first started looking at magazines.
Jay should quit, I never really liked his physique. I’m hoping the Xman will continue to improve as he impressed me in this contest same goes with DJ(Dennis James).

Don’t know, ask Ronnie Coleman, Dennis James, Silvio Samuel or even Dexter Jackson.
If I could sit down and pick any one of those guy’s brains… I would. Trust me.

kai continually makes improvements, has good size, alwasy spot on with conditioning too. I don’t know if he will beat dexter but he definitely is competition and dexter isn’t getting any younger. Same goes for freeman and DJ.
I agree that Jay is probably done, I feel that wolf, vic, heath are the top contenders besides dex.

I here that Cutler is coming back next year. IMO, the only way for him to win would be to quit playing to “symmetry game” and get as big as possible to simply make the other guys look smaller. You have to “dance with who brung ya’” And size took Cutler this far.
Best,
Dr Clay
That’s certainly a different approach Dr.Clay, I understand your rational.
It was interesting to note in the interviews leading up to the “O” a lot of the top pro’s seemed to have conceeded defeat to Jay and were talking about who would place 2-5 etc… (Heath and James at least). Of course this could have been them just blowing hot air…
A year is a long time in any sport and maybe we’ll get a better idea of the frame that most of the guys will go for later in this or next year. This could give us an indication as to the “ideal” that most will be apiring to come next sept.

Did he use a different tanning agent/color for his midsection than for the rest, or is it just my monitor…

X is correct that his abs aren’t as deeply etched in as most but the other thing to consider is the lighting of the stage he’s on. Just about every pro I’ve read always spoke about how the best lite stages were the Iron Man and the Arnold for really bringing out muscle display.
