I was disappointed they didn’t give Dave Henry a better chance at competition in prejudging.
Heath, Freeman, and Silvio really looked fantastic and all will be top 6. Jay shouldn’t even be top 3 if I were judging…

Judging from the pics, dave’s legs and bis just didn’t do the trick…
The bis are a genetic weak-point of his, that sucks balls… He has insane sweep in the long head of his tris when doing front or back double-bi poses. If he had better bi-genetics, his arm shape would blow most others away…
Quad sweep also seems to be missing imo.
You’re right about Jay, with almost everyone else having fairly good waist-sizes and abs showing even during arms-up/overhead poses, he really seems a little out of place.
Dex looks absolutely great, imo the strongest front-double-bi(due to the shape of his bis and tris in that pose and narrow waist) and an insane back-double, too.
I really miss seeing Ronnie and Levrone in the lineup, though.
Wolf has his taper, but hmm… Not the kind of lines/muscleshape which you get with most of the black guys… Not exactly my number 1, but not bad either…
Leo Ingram has funny biceps. Peak very close to the elbow, in the one back-double-bi that looks totally weird.
Reminds me a little of Branch, somehow. Not top 6 material, though.
Darrem Charles really doesn’t look like he stands a chance…
Rockel looks good for a white guy (shape wise) but way too small…
Freeman looks good, but I somehow just don’t find him all that interesting.
Heath has his arms, but hmm. I’d still pick dex over heath.
We need Levrone back. 20 lbs heavier than last time ![]()
I wouldn’t mind Dex winning, I guess. Only thing is that he just doesn’t have the sheer size… So it seems weird to think of him as (possible) Mr. O. Btw, did he manage to increase his back-width some lately? Kinda looks like it to me.

About Leo Ingram, I just find it fascinating that someone can be that ripped and still not show any ab separation. It shows that all humans do not have “six packs”. It also shouldn’t hold him back at all. Those tendons are not present in all people the way they are traditionally believed to be.

Dexter looks crazy. But he always looks crazy, so it doesn’t matter <_<
Awesome picture. Heath’s arms dwarf those of guys who have been at this for a decade longer.[/quote]
Dexter looks way bigger than I ever remember seeing him in that picture. His calves look a little small compared to Phils, but that’s partly due to his massive Quads.

Isn’t Dex up 8 pounds in contest weight?
At least that’s what I read somewhere else… Would explain things.

I actually completely overlooked that… I was so fascinated by his weird bis ![]()
Interesting about his abs, for sure. Kind of a shame, the judges will likely mind in his case, while ignoring Cutler’s waist-issues.
Then again, you yourself always say that genetics play a role and bb isn’t for everyone… While Ingram’s certainly are good for bbing, the lack of abs makes his physique somewhat incomplete.
Tough luck there… Same for Henry’s bis, or remember Rühl’s tris (which totally threw off his physique…). Funny also how Rühl had abs showing all the time, even in the off-season at 20% or whatever bf… The exact opposite of Ingram in that department. Maybe Rühl had one of those ab-surgeries ![]()
Jay will likely improve over that last night and peak for the real show… Won’t help his waist much, but is likely going to help him win…
Even though he has no business winning. Dex and Heath have way better upper bodies than him…
Badell and James also look great…
If only Dennis Wolf were 20-30 pounds bigger and fuller (and had more back, arms and calves, specifically)…
Looking over Freeman’s pics again, I think I didn’t do him justice before… Could really be number 2… If he manages to keep (or even improve, like Jay usually does) his conditioning for the main event.
Damn his pec tear…
Ok, my post kinda veered off, didn’t it.

Looks like 20 pounds of pure iron.

Haven’t watched the entire thing but here’s the press conference. Notice that both Jay and Dexter walk out with jugs. Jays got water and Dexter has some sort of shake or juice.
Toney Freeman nailed his conditioning working with Dave Palumbo, Toney doesnt even carb up, he had zero carbs in him on stage!
Jay looked like shit like always and i hope that all the other competitors with good lines made him look worse.
Dex was 7 pounds heavier with his famous conditioning, which looked rediculous.
Its my opinion that Dennis looked better than the blade in every category EXCEPT conditioning.
Phil Heaths arms are great, but they are usually to great. They over dominate his most muscular, thats why Dex beats him in that post every time.
This is what i think is going to happen tonight:
What i think should happen is:
side note: Ronny Rockel’s conditioning was his best ever.

Hm, I don’t see how Dennis (Wolf) beats Dexter except for the taper department.
Imo Wolf (like Oliva in his day, though imo Oliva would beat just about everyone if he were to compete today…) has the kind of taper that should be mandatory for every future Mr. O. He just kinda lacks the rest.
You know, Freeman’s taper is pretty darn great and I’d like him to beat Wolf (placing wise)… He has better arm-shape and all that…
I’m surprised that you’d like Jay to be 3rd. I’d have placed him lower…
Must say, however, that I’m missing the “That’s the winner right there!” kinda guy this year.
And past the top 6, everyone looks way too similar…
Dave Tate’s keeping a Twitter blog today while he’s in Vegas. He’s heard around town that Jay looked way off in Pre-Judging and that Tony Freeman apparently looks awesome.
I saw Freeman in the BB.com video where he was doing a Photo shoot about 10 days ago. If Dexter Looks like he did at the Arnold, I bet he’ll win.
I think it was tempting in the past to make Ronnie the winner because he had some personality. This isn’t the case with Jay. If they were always just giving the Sandow to the biggest mass monster, regardless of symmetry (which many people believe is the reason why Ronnie always won) then following that argument Markus Rhul should have won at some point.
But I don’t think there’s any motivation to choose Jay over Dexter for “the good of the sport.” If anything, Dexter is a better ambassador so if there’s any unfair favoritism this year it shouldn’t be to Dexter’s detriment.

David Henry took 202 by storm:) just like expected.
If I were judging (based on the PJ pics)
Unless Jay sells his soul before tonight I dont think he’s walking away with the Sandow

Ingram does indeed have the standard tendons running across his rectus abdomnis. Look at Ingrams website under Early Photos in the Photos section. You can’t see them anymore now because his stomach is too distended from years of going overboard with the insulin. No surprise he lost abdominal definition.
Who won, the webcast from bb.com won’t play on my computer.
top five list would be great.
They are about to announce the winners shortly
Much deserved
Wow, Dex pulls it off.
