Take some Lactase enzymes with your milk. It won’t affect the calories or carbs except to break the lactose sugar into galactose and glucose and it might save you some intestinal discomfort.
Brutal program but I enjoyed it. I completed a gallon challenge (whole milk) against a friend while I was doing the program as well, so if you feel like gambling it is definitely possible. Puking up an entire gallon of coagulated milk is pretty disgusting though…
dmunro,
Eerily prescient, this thread ![]()
We just started doing a 20 rep squat challenge at our gym. Twice a week, add 5 pounds each time. Started at 175, and progressing nicely thus far (190x20 yesterday).
Been doing lots of front squats and oly lifts over the last 2 years, but only back squated 3 times (in those 2 years). So its great to get back into the groove.
Keep at it. Lets suffer together, the more the merrier (err, sort of) ![]()
I’ve been trying to do 3x a week, adding 5 pounds. So far been able to complete everything. Tonight is 180 x 20.
Started at 165.
I keep adding to the thread because I’ve never been this motivated to go to the gym. I just want to tell people. Its so brutal squatting like this but it makes me feel like a testosterone freight train.
20 rep squats are da shit.
180x20 completed. I dropped the one set of SLDL I was doing. All it really did was make me feel like shit.
dmunro,
So what are you doing now for the remainder of your workout, after your squats?

Military Press 3 x 12
Pull overs 1 x 20 (light)
Dumbbell Incline or Flat Bench 3 x 10
Dumbbell Row 3 x 15
SLDL 1 x 15
Shrugs 2 x 15
Pull overs 1 x 20 (light)
And I drink 2-3L of milk most days. I rarely get to 4L before the day is done.
With all the milk, I feel fully recovered after 48 hours. I could hit the gym and increase the weight on my squat every second day my schedule allowed it.
MP has gone up about 7.5lbs for the rep range, squat has gone up 15lbs. for 20 and DB Bench only about 5lbs added to each dumbbell for the rep range.
But its only been like 2 weeks, so I’m pleased.
