I’ll be traveling for a week in a couple of weeks, so it’s not enough time to complete a full 3-4 week wave for a new program before then. Didn’t quite nail the timing this trip. Anyone have any fun ideas or interesting challenges to kill the 2 weeks?
Are you trying to overtrain some specific muscles you hope fill with glycogen and terrify the locals or keep yourself entertained until you go?
No, not going to a beach or anything. Just looking for something fun.
5 navy seal burpees
5 chin ups
10 squats
20-30 minutes AMRAP
Oh sorry you said fun
Taper rep range down first week, test 1-3 rep maxes the next?
Or maybe just change a bunch of exercises around, using the 2 weeks as introductory weeks to whatever you plan to do after.
Maybe some CrossFit WODs? Or anything @T3hPwnisher posts. Or just play a bunch of basketball.
CT or Tanner Shuck (I don’t remember which, sorry) had some posts about doing things like biceps in a functional way that looked interesting. So something like:
- Chin-up
- Gun walk (carry in the top portion of a curl)
- Tire flip or sandbag “scoop”
- Farmers carry
