1st Cycle advise

I’ve been on trt for about a year 43 years old I’m running 100mg Testosterone Cypionate a week. I am thinking about 4 weeks 20mg a day dbol and 300 mg Test and 300mg deca for 10 weeks. Does this sound reasonable and what kind of results should I expect?

Your answer to this will depend on above and the frequency of your bloodwork. You can’t run a 10 week cycle with bloods at 12 weeks.
Beyond that drugs have little to do with gaines. Diet and training are 95% of the equation.

What are your general goals?
Obviously you want to improve your physique or increase your strength level or both.

Classic mass stack. I like it.

Currently prescribed but this would be on my own I was planning on getting a blood panel done on my own half way through. As far as diet what should I be eating macros to maintain with protein upped to 1.5 grams of body weight?

Both is the goal leaning more toward strength.

Are you a experienced lifter?

What I’m getting at is that if you need Dr bloodwork the. You may not have enough time between their bloodwork to run a cycle. You need at the very least 5-6 weeks after running a cycle to get your levels and other markers in order.

If you don’t know how to properly eat for your goals then you have 0 business doing a cycle.

What are your current stats? You don’t need 1.5g pro per lbs. you should be basing this off lean body mass.

What? People asking cycle advice before they have their lifting and diet on point? That doesnt ever happen on here.

But how many years have you been lifting weights?
What is your body weight and at what height?
What is your best Bench Press? Squat?

I’ve been lifting since my mid 20’s. I’ve played the game with diets and calculated macros but I’m an ectomorph and was never able to put on weight. As of now I am sitting at 5’8" and 165 lbs. I haven’t tried for one rep max but I am at 145lbs for 5x10 on bench and 245 5x10 on squats.

Scratch what I said. You need to build a base before the classic mass stack. You’re nowhere near your natural or TRT induced limits.

Im same age and an inch shorter than you. I graduated high school as a 130lb wet noodle. First I learned how to train and eat to 165lbs, then came 185, then 200, then an athletic but not lean 215. Point being you need to learn to eat for the size you want.

Though I agree, the clock is working against OP. He is nearing the end of the best years to put on muscle, him being 43 years old. If not now, when?

Good point. Back on the train! I mean the stack, doses, and duration all seem reasonable for first go. He’s already on Test so I guess why not? No PCT to worry about and while I’m a fan of only one new compound at a time, this is a tried true combo.

So that also takes me to the question when do reach the point that you just ride the trt train into the sunset?

Now that is an easy question to give you an answer. Your problem will be deciding when the risk outweighs the benefit.

You keep blasting and cruising until you begin getting weaker no matter what you do. Just know that you are compromising your health every blast.

Gotcha thanks for all the feed back. I think I’ll give it try like mentioned time isn’t on my side. I’ll just see what I can get out of it.

When i stopped making forward progress despite light to moderate AAS use I stopped. At that point your only option is to keep increasing doses or use more harsh compounds. Not worth it for me considering the health consequences of that. Plus I’m not a competitor on stage or for powerlifting etc.

Some people experience some very bad side effects, so it is a bit of a gamble.

I would start much more conservatively:
200mg/wk Testosterone
200mg/wk Deca

or
200mg/wk Testosterone
20mg/day Dianabol

Let this be your first “blast.” If you are committed to multiple “blasts” then you could add a little more each subsequent blast. The more you use AAS, the more you need more AAS to get more results. The idea is that each cycle builds on the previous cycle.
