I can’t remember if I posted here or in the 18 inch one because I hover in the middle of 18 and 19.

This pic is from today and I’m about 10lbs lighter than in the previous pic (250 from 260) and my arm looks a bit smaller I guess.

Hey you guys just wanted to say today I did 155lbs on the straight barbell curl for 4 reps, none of that swinging shit either. And then 135lbs for 9. So stoked, I came home and had my sister measure my arms because it’s been months… 19 INCHES BABY!
Just wanted to share that I’m finally in the 19" club.
6’
207lbs morning weight, man I am happy
Got to run to work now but I just wanted to share because I am another step closer to 21 inch guns.

Nice work, fellow large arms for bodyweight guy. (and damn you) Mine get up over 19" when pumped but it’s gonna be a while before they’re there cold, dammit!

Thanks man, just wish my chest and legs would respond as well as arms do for me. Still only have 27" wheels and I’m shooting for 30’s.
I’ll take any gains I can though.

Damn XXL cheap white t’s are so baggy around the waist.
I train arms twice a week but just separately, biceps one day and triceps the other.
Wednesday is arm day, I usually do the following though I switch it up all the time to keep things fresh.
Barbell curls, usually 4 reps, a medium weight for the first set and then I pyramid up adding 10 pounds to each side, usually get up to enough weight that I can only do a few reps the last set.
Dumbbell curls, I know alot of people say they don’t seem to work that well but if you really hold at the top of the curl and squeeze before lowering I definitely believe they help.
Preacher curls, pretty basic the normal 3 or perhaps 4 sets with no more then 8 reps per set.
Hammer curls, heavy weight for 3 sets, man that’s where I get my peak, hammer curls, hammer hammer hammer.
Saturday is tricep day.
I do tricep pressdowns, with the cable you know, as much weight as it lets me to burnout. I do that maybe 5 times.
Skullcrushers usually 2 or 3 sets.
Standing over the head skull crushers, it’s like a tricep extension with a barbell over your head.
Reverse barbell curls, basically a barbell curl but with the overhand grip so your pulling upwards palms facing up.
Every exercise I do is because I specifically can feel my muscle working doing that motion so I stick with it. I don’t see any sense in doing a popular exercise if I don’t feel it doing anything where it is supposed to be.
But yeah just wanted to share with all of you. ![]()
Goes back into the sea

I feel like you are one of the most underrated people on this site man, well at least in the eyes of all teh dudes. Pretty sure all the girls noticed.
Good work man. You are making some damn good progress.
Beans, idk man, I’ve always known Jon has some fucking GUNS, and is lean as fuck. I think Jon and Kingbeef have the best arm genetics from the regulars.
Great job guys. Major fucking arm envy.
JonEightPackGuy: We need you to pull the sleeve up for the next photo…that bicep looks great, you could barely stick a quarter in the gap between it and your forearm!

True story, a very nice round muscle belly, with a decent peak to boot. Normally you see one or the other lol

I just mean, you don’t see people name him when they talk about people making progress, and he certainly should be named.
Shit I didn’t even know who he was until last winter, lol, and I’m normally pretty good at remembering people, particularly those that stand out.
Maybe I’m just a dumbass…

Here you are Nards… lol kinda pulled up, shit idk. By the way look at my Jugular lmao
I just like to keep low key because I don’t really have much to show unlike alot of the big guys, I just like to observe others and learn from them, rather read then write my own ideas on how to. I respect the big boys and one day I want to post a thread and be like so and so years progress and show me when I was just starting and now. I want to be a big boy too and I will, I want that respect.
Oh and by the way bugeishaAD I appreciate the compliment, I look up to you and that fuckin wide ass back.
And CountingBeans don’t worry you aren’t a dumbass, I just like to blend in. ![]()
So yes, if you don’t know me it’s all good, I kind of stay hidden from most talks if I can. ![]()
Damn Jon, nice job man.
That’s great. I think I’ll now pull my pics out of this thread!
Honestly I should as I’m pretty sure my arms aren’t even 18.5" anymore…I’m just under 250lbs now.

He doesn’t post much. They can’t be “underrated” if the reason no one talks about them is because they really aren’t a part of the community.
The same applies to guys who never post but for some reason want access to the T-Cell.
Jon is making great progress…and so are people who really contribute a bit more.
starts eating compulsively and crying …amazing job guys, truly inspirational…
I like how all of those people with shit to say when the “18” thread" was first made have now shut up. I am glad the guys really gaining that muscle have done the job that they have…and that they showed that yes, you DO need to worry about whether you are actually gaining weight and yes, you need to shoot for specific size goals if your goal is to really stand out in the gym.
None of those people who told Austin to slow down seem to be making more progress than him at the moment.
jon’s an animal, this is the 1st time ive seen him post outside of GAL & SAMA.

Yep, and those that said “Keep on goin bro” are pretty much doing the same thing-- Consistently eat to gain, lift heavy and often.
I use Austin’s progress as a check on my own. I’ve been keeping up with him figuring that if I can keep at least even with a serious guy 20 years younger than me with probably twice the hormonal profile as me, I’m at least doing “OK” ![]()

Don’t forget that Austin dieted down, dropped 30ish pounds I believe. It needed to be done and his progress has been improving dramatically ever since he did it.
