Thanks for the breakdown Dylanj!
Looking great.
If anything, having a rest day after your leg day would be good. Legs,Chest, and Back all in a row will take a toll on your CNS, central nervous system.
I know you feel you are recovering, however that day rest could bring you on even further.

in the near future i may just do that. For me, it will be harder mentally to take a day off. I will feel im not working hard enough.
oh and i foregot to add to my supplements, Animal Pak. dont really know if it does anything and i read the multi reviews and will probably change this also in the near future.
Oh my God you have amazing shoulders and an amazing military press. What do you do for shoulders?

what ive been doing for the past 4 months
dumbbell press
50lbs x 30 warm up
85lbs x 16 warm up
110lbs x 6-8 reps x 5 sets
military
225lbs x 6-8 reps x 4 sets
bent arm barbell raise
165lbs x 8 reps x 5 sets
side lat raises (DB)
45lbs x 8 reps x 5 sets
arnolds
65lbs x 6 reps x 4 sets
as you can see im not very strong for my weight, but i hope that will come with age. but i think i have pretty good endurance to keep a steady weight for same sets and reps, or maybe im not pushing myself hard enough!
sick! now can i lick you…please. just once. ok maybe twice

See a rest day as part of your training, therefore your still working hard. Taking a rest day is like working out. You allow your muscles grow.

sorry i didnt mean to imply that i wasnt going to do it, just saying how hard it will be for me. i didnt mean to be difficult.
i took today off, i feel great ![]()
amazing body. Huge shoulders
I wish i could be like u one day
keep it up:)
took the last two days off, and feeling pretty damn good, cant wait work out tmrw though!
Yeah man, I’m no where near your physique or anything so don’t take this for what you will, but I’m not trying to be preachy or anything.
So yeah, I was training like 6 days a week for a while, I’d do chest/back, arms, then legs, then repeat so I’d cycle that twice a week, supersetting so chin then dips, bench then row, etc. did that for a while, kinda’ stalled made a little progress 4-6 sets of each 8-12 reps. blah blah.
Anyways, I noticed my lifts went up faster on a 4 day split or now I’m on a 3 day tbt, but yeah, what your doing seems to work, I’ll probably go back to a 6 day a weeker sometime, just to keep my body guessing, ![]()
But yeah man, I know what you mean, you crave the pump, gotta have it everyday, it’s like cocaine man, some addictive shit for sure! And it’s funny actually because I don’t look forward to my workouts quite as much as I did when I was on 6-days I don’t know if it’s cause I’m training the whole body, or because it’s so fucking hard or what.
Anyways, good stuff.
Built like a brick shit house.

Cause… you got 0 recovery day…I dont really understand how that could be, unless you can say “thanks god for crazy recovery capacity”
yep totally natural, if you saw the rest of my family youd realize i just hit the genetic jackpot. my granfather is 65 yrs old, and is still bigger than i am, 50 inch chest 31 inch waist 285lbs bech for a 6 count.
My uncles are the same way. my mother is a triathelete, done the ironman 2 times, her pr is 9 hrs 30 min. check the back brochure of ironman 2002, thats her… ahah. i was born and raised to be fit. always ate healthy, always exercized. and was always pushed by my grandfather to be big.
this may be queer to you guys, but my grandfather is full norwegian, and supposidly we trace our blood back to eric the red, that viking fellow. dont hold me to it though, just a family tale.
and as far as recovery time, take a look how i placed my musclegroups, not one uses a supporting muscle group within a days times-span. i consider that my recovery time.[/quote]
Jesus, you come from good stock.
7 days a week is almost impossible even for chemically assisted guys. You must take some time off every other week or so ?
You should consider strong man training, it might present more of a value to you.
The right side of your body is not proportional to the left side. Your Right side is way bigger than the left side and is extremely noticeable.

yes a very healthy family indeed, dont know my fathers side, besides they were from france, with a little english
no time off, the last time i took time off was 4 days ago when i took 2 days off, (only cus i was getting grilled for not taking time off) i think i might take more off in the future i felt pretty good.
as far as strongman goes, i don really think im strong enough as far as weight ratio goes. but if i did, how would this be more of a value to me?
i seem to gain mass very easily, im not sure if its how i train or just my genetics, but in my eyes i feel im more along the lines of a bodybuilder, i naturally stay lean, but can still put solid gains in.

Your recovery abilities are very very good, you could work hard and heavy with compound movements often training for pure strength and still make great gains in size.
How much larger do you really want to get ? at a certain point its nice to be freakishly strong to back up the look.
