150lb Girl Does 14 Dips

Not bad for the little blonde chic. Happy to see she is working hard and staying fit.

Does it count that I strap her body weight to my waist and do dips? Although I am thinking it would be more fun to strap HER to my waist.

chick looks good for 150lbs. Doesn’t look like she’d be anywhere near that heavy

Dudes. Please.

What does everyone think a 150lb chick would normally look like?

This is what a 150 lb chick would “normally look like” if she were 5’4" or shorter.

A 5’4 “normal chick” with the same amount of leanness as the OP tends to run around 110-115 in my experience. That’s for someone completely untrained except maybe some cardio.

Those are partial dips. i am impressed nonetheless–she’s actually working hard rather than doing kickbacks.

I would be more if impressed if it wasn’t for the fact that I can literally do 100 dips like that without breaking a sweat.

JK I am impressed now as I was when I first saw this video. But seriously I can do like a 100 dips like that.

BTW where is that guy HolyMac at?

Haha. I second that. That reminds of the time me and my buddy held onto the ends of a barbell as our other buddy banged out ten squats. Not as sexy as you’er scenario but it was entertaining.

It seems that it’s really hard for most people to judge muscular women’s weight based off of what a “normal” woman looks like. I don’t exactly go around playing the “guess my weight” game but people are usually way off or surprised when they hear the real number.

Pic for reference.

EDIT: Holy moly. That pic blew up. Sorry its so big. And kudos to the girl in the video. More women need to be lifting like her.

Her weight seemed perfectly reasonable for me. I dated a girl who was 5’3 - 153. Had very muscular legs, was a cheerleader and lifted hard. Could outsquat and legpress most males in the gym.

And nice pics Buckeye Girl. My kinda woman.

Now these pics above impress me

It’s pretty damn good for how short she’s been training for, but I wouldn’t say I’m impressed, either. Just because most women play with 5lb dumbbells doesn’t mean that that’s all they’re capable of. After seeing some female powerlifters move some truly humbling weight, I’m firmly convinced that women have the potential to be much stronger than most of us give them credit for.

Wow buckeye girl, not to be too ass-kissy, but if I could get myself to look half as good as you I’d be a very happy woman.

Nice work! Buckeye Girl!

Impressive, tell her to keep grinding.

Thanks. I’m a work in progress. It’s just been the last year and a half or so that I’ve made big changes in my physique.

Don’t you train sort of a PL style (heavy, lower reps on the big exercises)? I found that focusing on body parts and murdering accessory work with the same intensity I used on the big stuff really lead to changes in my physique. Not that you were asking for advice…

So, wait, I’m still a little confused.

Is this actually an impressive feat of physical prowess, or is this thread more of a thinly veiled, “Hey, check out the chick I hang with” sorta thing?

Damn, can’t you recognize her for her grind. Get your mind out the freaking gutter. Pause for a minute, recognize her for her individual success. Just because your not impressed doesn’t make it ok to think everyone has an intention of looking at her as an object. Now I see why woman hate working out in gyms. It’s about the process. The motivation and determination to do what others won’t, maybe if you spent more time doing work you would recognize it’s not about starring at woman in the gym but the process for each individual.

Considering HolyMac is OP, most likely the latter
