i fail at linking to…i know…but heres a direct link

5 foot 3, 119 pounds here.

what do you guys think? my diet has basically been staples of egg whites, multivitamin, chicken breast, lots of veggies and tuna.

really not sure of any maxes such as deadlifts and squats, i know my best bench was 190.

thoughts? suggestions?

i suggest you bulk, keep your diet the way it is now,but add red meat and whole eggs every now and then

also add cottage cheese, natural peanut butter, whey protein

that’s impressive that you can hit 190 on the bench at 14 and 119 pounds, you have some potential for sure

welcome to the site kid!!

now post the necessary pictures. k, thx.

well, right now i have to stay cut for wrestling. as far as back muscles anything “lagging” or is it well developed

We cant even tell because you didn’t post the required pictures.

Your very light, I highly recommend eating hard, your 14, if you want to get taller and bigger youll need more food than egg whites and veggies.

Why are you scared of fats ? they are an ESSENTIAL part of the diet.

You have a great base for a 14 year old. Even just by looking at the avatar pic that much is obvious. It is pointless to look for weakpoints at this time though. You are simply too young for that to even matter.

BUT it is time to stop posting here and time to start eating. Have fun trying to bulk on egg whites and chicken breasts. You are not a dieting pro bodybuilder, so stop eating like one. Eat some whole eggs and some beef, it’ll do yo good. Don’t sell yourself short by limiting your food choices.

Good luck

OO I remember. You are the one who’s coach doesn’t want you to gain weight. BIG MISTAKE. YOU ARE 14!!! You need to eat. Do you really think it is a good idea to prevent yourself from gaining weight at such a young age? Of course you don’t because you don’t understand the negative impact it can and will have on you in the future. Wise up

well right now, since youre in wrestling finish out the season with a wrestling diet, , i know it sucks lol, i’m in college and still doing it

but as soon as off season comes in a month or so, start your bulk, you’ll have nearly a year to gain

eat beef and whole eggs, check out the “quality bulk” article in the nutrtion section

will do, thanks. whats your diet look like, and how much weight do you cut to get to your class?

Squats and Milk

Why the eff would a wrestling coach expect you to stay “cut” for wrestling? IF he expects you to stay within a weight range…DO NOT LISTEN TO HIS ADVICE. Ive seen many many many school wrestlers who’ve listened to their stupid coaches, and stunted their growth severely by underfeeding at this crucial age.

You NEED a caloric surplus AT LEAST till you finish growing (say, 21-22). AT LEAST. Just keep away for junk food and sweets. Your bones grow axially till age 21-22 and width-wise (frame changes) till 25-30 roughly.
I would also recommend sticking with a moderate to slightly higher rep range for now…

Also I mentioned this in another thread. By staying “cut” at this age, you are robbing yourself of both precious inches (height) as well as precious pounds of muscle! Use your head here. If you’re not growing normally (height and muscle) eat more.

OF course, all this will fall on deaf ears, but at least I tried lol.

Your diet is fucking stupid for a 14 y.o male. Egg whites? Come the fuck on…Your coach is a retard too for trying to keep growing boys from gaining weight.

Bonez is right…Wise up.

You guys may as well save your breath. There is another thread this guy started that goes on for pages and pages. Same story over there. He needs to eat but he has it in his head that he has to make the 114 lb weight class no matter what. A lot of people tried to explain this to him.

Which is why I just posted Squats and milk.

Yea I hear you. I figured I’d bring it up again anyway. He’s lost. Oh well.

seriously up your fats, theyre essential for strength gains and joint lubrication.

I completely agree with you. Coaches are idiots. They don’t give a shit about the health of their athletes, as long as they can perform at an adequate level.

Just tell your coach you want to wrestle a heavier weight class and give your self an excuse to put on a few pounds. Thats what I did. I went from the 140 weight class to the 171 class in less than a year.

i usually dont have to cut bc im a heavyweight, and im 15 lbs under, but i still keep my diet clean

in season, right now i have oats, natural peanut butter, red meat, chicken tuna, protein shakes, veggies, cottage cheese, milk, brown rice, green tea, apple cider vinegar, and ground cinnamon

i basically eat really small meals throughout the day and sip green tea

but thats the key for you lighter weight class guys, eat often but really small, if you can i recommend eating something during practice if you can

try to get 8-10 meals in a day, but keep them small and high in fiber and protein

MOST IMPORTANTLY

cottage cheese and spinach before bed, itll stop you from being hungry in the morning

x2

based on the appearance of things, you need to move up a weight class.

Great for 14. I don’t see many 14 yr olds with that much muscle. Good job, keep it going!

Unless you believe you can earn a scholarship at a top university through wrestling, bulk up to a higher weight class.

I was an idiot in high school and cut weight for 3 years for wrestling. Now at 23, I am the shortest male in my (large) extended family over 18 and my doc says my hands and feet are average size for someone 3 inches taller than me. I haven’t grown an inch in height since I was 15 either. I doubt it was a coincidence… Now I am in a bad mood thinking about how my little bro is 2 inches taller than me haha. Go eat now!
