Reading t-mag i come across lost of posts that say… i started this and im 12 lbs heavier or i started that and im 14 lbs heavier in only 3 weeks. Why does this not happend for me? Iv’e gained 12 lbs of muscles in 9 months. My diet is pretty serious, i follow everything i read on this site and know what i have to do. My workouts are consistant and i have been getting stronger. Just not the weigth gains id like to see. Any suggestions…
I train for strength all the time because im my opion that is more important. Will the size eventually come as i get stronger. I figure this is the long road. Opions and comments are welcome.
Hey man, 12 lbs in 9 months is really good. I would be happy with that, seriously. Yeah, there are a lot of people that gain weight quickly, but a lot of times, if you look at what they went from to what they did to gain the weight, you’ll immediately notice why. They either had no rhyme or reason to what they lifted or what they ate, and when they dialed it in, they adjusted quickly.
12 lbs is still really good. I would be proud of that.
Hey Bobopunxs,
12 lbs is good don’t sweat it. You said you “train for strength all the time,” My question would be how many years have you been training? Some of these people have just started (newbie effect) or have switched from ineffective weightlifting to weightlifting with a plan (which in my opinion still allows for the newbie effect). So again don’t sweat it. But you may want to leave the strength training priciples, reps and exercises and come up with 12 weeks of something your body hasn’t even come close to seeing before. Since if you have used the same principles etc. all this time, you too could get the newbie effect.
Just some ramblings.
Peace,
T-Ren
Holy hell! I saw that title and immediately had two very divergent thoughts.
One was of all the porn advertisements I get all the time.
14" Cock Stuffed in 3 Holes!
Watch gang bang - 13 guys and 4 horny sluts taking it every way they can get it!
And the other was that it was referring to someone’s golf scoring. 14 strokes in 3 holes is going to average way too high to make par. Gotta tighten up on the short game.
