1 Year Progress

And this is a back pic before I cut my BF… need to get some new pics! My waist is smaller now.

.

legs look pretty good in that pic tbh

Well you look juiced on the last pictures.

excellent frame to add mass. Need traps and better forearms.
And the reason he looks “juiced” is probably because of the post workout pump (pics are not cold).
Did you cut down from jan 08, because I don;t see much size gain from then (you are bending forward for the most muscular so you look about the same size)

so trenbolone?

It took me a while to understand this (not having used any of these, survived on test all my life), but I see where you’re getting at.
Based on what I see with the youngsters at my gym, I would bet on equipoise. But what do I know? We’ll know when he states how his lifts improved.

Why? Because I have veins?

Most people I see ‘juiced’ are soft and less vascular.

Thanks for the comments.

Its funny I got told that my traps were ‘overdominant’ last summer - maybe I have brought other BP’s up since then. I have noticed that my forearms have gone slightly bigger since I have been doing loads of BB work such as BB curls, upright rows, and heavy shrugs, rows etc. See the slight improvement from the first pic and the 3rd/4th.

Yes I vut down for 8 weeks, then increased my carbs whilst keeping my cardio in my routine [something I didnt do before]

I really need to add around 2 stone LBM. I aim to compete within 2-3 years so need to pack on some size.

My training is a 10 day split that someone who I know who competes recommend me use [he has just finished competing and came in 2nd in a well known event].

Mon: Legs and Calves
Tues: Cardio
Wed: Chest
Thurs: Cardio
Fri: Back
Sat: Cardio
Sun: Shoulders
Mon: Cardio
Tues: Arms
Wed: Cardio

I was worried that I would loose mass training less frequently but the ‘day off’ is a god send because I can hit the iron very hard and really fatigue the fibres with the extra rest.

I train with normally a warm up set, 3 working sets, with the last one a drop set.

Legs and Calves:-

Squats
[12/15/10/8] …then 2 x sets @ 60KGs = [3mins / 3mins+] [see hungarian oak article] Then 2 x working again [8/6]

BB Lunges
[10/10]

SLDLS or BB Goodmornings
[15/12/10/8]

Calf Raises
30/25/25/20 - dropped - BW till failure

Chest:-

BB Flat Bench
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

BB Incline Bench
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

BB Decline or Dips
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

DB Flat or Inline Flyes
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

Back:- [stopped DL for the time being due to lower back pain and waist thickeing up]

Wide Grip Chins
[12/10/8/6]

BB BO Rows
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

DB BO Rows
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

Incline Bench DB Rear Lat Raise
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

Shoulders:-

BB Press
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

BB Upright Row
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

BB Shrugs
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

DB Lat Raise
[12/10/8 - dropped until failure]

Arms

BB Close Grip Bench - Supersetted with DB Hammer Curls
[12/10/8/6]

BB Sculls/DB Sculls - Supersetted with BB Curls
[12/10/8/6]

DB Concentraion Curls
[10/10]

Close Grip Press Ups
[Failure]

Diet wise - I eat alot of lean red meat [5% or less fat Steak], chicken, eggs, some protein powder [but all meals are ‘real foods’ apart from PWO and first thing in morning]. I eat wholemeal products, potatoes, Oats, and fibrous veg for carbs, Nuts and fish oils as well as whats in my meat for fats.

I try and eat meals with either carbs or fats in.

I eat my carbs in the morning, Pre WO, PWO, PPWO. I eat fats inbetween.

I have around 7 to 8 meals a day.

I am very clean all week except for Saturday which I keep my protein high but allow myself to cheat, which is normally indian food, etc.

Look good but you did juice

damn u got that cut from clean bulking? usually clean bulking is just adding less fat, i’m surprised u lost so much during it. im also surprised u could do so well not working a muscle for 10 days

Why all the hate for this guy? You guys really think that much progress must be attributed to AAS, really? He is certainly vascular, but nothing too crazy, nor would suggest he’s used AAS. Seems to me he tightened up his diet, upped the cardio, and has a pump.

Good god - people actually believe that what he attained in a year is impossible without juice?

Unbelieveable…

Looking good guy. Excellent gains and great conditioning. Keep at it, you’re making a lot of progress.

I have tried many splits, and this one works best for me.

In answer to your question about making progress whilst only training a BP once in 10 days, IMO its all relevant to the way you train. I train to very high intensity and completely blitz the muscle, so it needs 10 days to recoup. Dont be scared to listen to your body.

I was passed it by a UK BBer who placed 2nd this summer, he has done this split since the beginning. Dorian Yates trained similarly too.

However we are all have a different genetic build and IMO we need to experiment and workout a routine that works for us individually.

when u got cut did u do a type of cut where u lost overall weight or were u just gaining muscle much slower where u actually lost some fat too?

Nice vascularity.
