Well alright Scott, I apologize. The low T-Levels is something you may have wanted to mention in your initial posting. I did just assume that you were a punk kid with low self-esteem who needed a way to show the world what was up. Noone deserves to live with low T-Levels. Keep lifting and be careful.

IN 1986, WITH GEAR, I COMPETED IN A SANCTIONED POWER LIFTING MEET. I BENCHED 440 - SQUATTED 585 - DEAD LIFTED 700 TOTAL = 1725 I AM NOW 43 YEARS OLD AND STILL FEEL THE EFFECT OF THAT DAY.

Some nice numbers here. I for one think and fell weak as hell. 5’10" 215 Bench: 315 (boo!)
Squat 450, Deadlift 440. Total:1205

You don’t need roids to put up big numbers, although it helps. To those newbies to lifting I will give 2 pieces of advice

  1. Don’t BS yourself. Only you know when your following your nutrition and training the way it needs to be followed.

  2. Have a clue in the gym. Have a plan. Use the workouts T-mag has layed out. Follow them perfectly. Who cares if you don’t bench for 6 weeks. That may be part of the plan. Have faith in it.

Once I checked my ego at the door, followed the workouts as insructed and was religious about diet I started seeing the changes. 40 lbs in 2 years-no drugs and very very limited supplement use.

"Success is a well thought out plan, executed to perfection"

At the end of my senior year I got 635lbs deep squat, 405 bench, 635 deadlift, but coach made us use a dimond bar so it lowered my max. I was 18 then now I’m 19.
