My skipload looked like this for this week

10 rice krispies, 6 low fat waffles with about 200ml of maple syrup (lol), one big bag of oven baked chips, 355g of gummies, 1 gatorade, 2 x 500ml energy drinka, 500ml of orange juice and I finished with 2 big slices of pizza with a lot of fat in them too hahah.

About 1100g carbs if I estimate correctly
Dear mother of god.

Must look into carb loading strategies…

Definitely a thread to keep my eye on here. Always thought you had a solid build, but how much can someone really tell from Avatar pics? Photos thrown up earlier in this thread definitely reinforced some good potential. Hooking up with both Meadows and Skip means you’re more than serious about this. I got a feeling that this is going to be a great journey.

Best of luck brother.

Gummy bears: the real secret to carb/skip loading.

Gummy bears are sub optimal. 30g of carbs per 40g of gummies

Swedish berries have 36g per 40g!

Posting this random pic as I think my side shots were so bad that I looked like shit. I’ll really need to work on posing in the next weeks to see what angle and stuff makes me look best and then just practice with that same angle over and over again

That angle really does show your mass better. You look awesome, man.

Good luck!

I agree I feel like your posing isn’t doing you justice at this stage. No offense, just think once you learn how to really showcase your physique, you’ll be hard to beat.

Fuaarrrkkkkk Chest and shoulders looking insane man!

Also this is a very helpful video on posing if you haven’t already checked it out…a ton of info so I took notes haha

THIS GUY IS SO RIGHT ON!

Nothing worse than a huge guy coughbranchwarrencough looking awkward and stupid while posing, and thin amateur level competitors mimicking that.

Man, have you ever looked into orange slices? Those fuckers are so got-damn calorie and carbohydrate-dense. LOVE 'EM.

Probably a little too dense, though, to be honest…

Haha well considering the guy in the video is my prep coach yeah ive seen the video :stuck_out_tongue:

Lol i was gonna say that.

Looking very thick in the new pic. Chest thickness didnt seem that apparant before.

Just wanted to make sure you weren’t slacking! haha

those shoulders are so big they dont look like they belong on your body LOL. how many direct side and rear delt exercises do you do now? do you do them before of after pressing? do you do them in the same way you spoke of above for biceps, squeezing throughout the rep?

i ask so many shoulder questions because my shoulders are my freakin kryptonite.
Shoulder day

4 x 8-12 Front Dumbell press or Smith front press
4 x 35 partial lateral raises
4 x 35 rear delt machine

Then I do 4 sets of shrugs and now added some hams work

Yes I do them in the same fashion that I do my biceps, but in the case of my shoulder I do it naturally. I actually think some people strong bodyparts are sometimes genetics yes but sometimes just better because they, without realizing it, have a much better mmc with that bodypart
One question I’ve always had when reading about Meadows stuff and things like 35 reps is the weight used for each set. Do you ramp up weight each set of 35, or pick a weight and do 35 reps for it each set (straight sets)? How do you measure progress, with increases in weight? Or reps?

Are the reps explosive (or as explosive as you can on a delt machine or heavy partial laterals) with a slow controlled negative? Do you pause between reps or is constant tension kept the whole set? Do you keep rest periods short like Meadows suggests (around 45-60 seconds) in his articles?

Wow I had way more questions then I thought.

I usually just used a weight I could do for 35, if it was too easy I upped by 5lbs, if it was ok I kept the weight. If there was a set where I couldnt get 35, I dropped the weight (by 5lbs) for the following set.

I measure progress by weights, but I dont think strenght is how JM assure progression though. I shall see

No pause between reps, reps are explosive but controlled. Yes around 60secs for shoulder exercises is what I used

1x/week !! Then again I dont think people should do what I do for shoulders, I think they would grow out of pretty much anything, tbh
