I watched Narnia the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (BBC), Man. I had much higher expectations. Horrible. I can tell the books were great but the movie sucked.

For a project in English, I’m doing an essay where the goal is to try to convince the teacher my viewpoint. Im doing it on how trumps tariffs are indeed working (I think they are working, albeit a little slow; Ive seen an increase of ads for american owned/smaller business (that aren’t apart of the large business conglomerates as far as I know)

Knees been hurting today. Its from either the workout or yesterdays hours of outdoor activity (involved sporadic running and sprinting)

Tomorrow for my science thing Im bringing in 6 species of mosses that I can look at under the microscope. Very exciting for me.

Yeah. I enjoyed it. I will probably plan out a more structured workout though, this was just on the whim. Was good though.

On another note. I can’t find much evidence that Trump’s tariffs are actually increasing the amount of manufacturing jobs in the US. Not yet, anyways. I anticipate that next year when things have been going on for long enough, companies will be able to make their moves to the US, which will then increase the amount of jobs (Im hoping for the rebirth of the rust belt area industry)

I also hope next year the weather is better for growing crops. Weather was awful this year (atleast in my area). Raining on and off for days, a few days of sun, more rain. Was like that a lot of spring and earlier summer. Horrible for the plants. Our tomatoes have been green for 4 months!

Tomorrow is my strength training day. Oh! this is a tough week so I get to go easier on cardio. Il have to calculate my new training weights. This is week 9, so this and 3 more weeks until I’m done with Operator+Black. This is has been great so far. Strength is definitely up. Pistol squats are easy. I can do a 1 arm pushup, I can do 10 pullups pretty easily. Its amazing.

On week ā€œ13ā€ I have my rest and Retest week. Will see all my strength improvements. I feel confident I’m going to have much better numbers. I think Il be able to do 225 for squat, maybe. 185 for bench hopefully.

I never did my third workout last week. I never got around to it. Oh well.

Today is great. Tomorrow will be greater than today because it will.

Im getting sick of the internet. Nothing good anymore. So much right-wing biased stuff. I want to start my own news thing. The problem is I wouldn’t know where to get my information from. I can’t trust a thing online.
Once I finish Operator+Black, I’m outta here. I need to distance myself from the internet. Im filing a restraining order on Google! Lol.

I don’t read/watch the news myself. With poli-sci for my undergrad and masters, I don’t really see a need.

I don’t read/watch it often myself, but when I do I like having facts. And it seems like there is a deficit of facts, which is making mainstream media lose credibility.
And not even with news, there’s so much AI generated stuff out there, it draws me away from the internet. I hate AI, because it makes the brain less capable of thinking for itself. All these things where it will ā€œhelpā€ you write your essay/application/etc, if AI is writing it for you, YOUR not doing anything. Your just being lazy. Don’t have the time? should have though about that before doing it.

Yeah, I do want to track it here but Its hard to focus sometimes. Although, I could use the one blocker I have to stop myself from wasting time looking at other articles here. I will feel it out at the time, I suppose.

Was difficult to wake up today, eyes were very heavy. Im up though!
Today I have my science thing, I will need to remember to bring my six moss specimens.

That’s not what the news is. It’s entertainment. It doesn’t survive by relaying facts: it survives by getting views. And it gets views by giving the audience what it wants.

Understand that most of the things we dislike in society are, in fact, a mirror reflecting ourselves. The news wouldn’t be terrible if the people watching it weren’t terrible. These are simply businesses. They’re doing what it takes to survive and make money. If the majority of the people wanted informed, unbiased facts, that’s EXACTLY what the news would produce. That’s clearly NOT what is in demand.

I hate AI, because it makes the brain less capable of thinking for itself.

I think you’d really enjoy reading Schopenhauer. I wish I did when I was your age. He’s pretty easy to approach, despite having written in the 1800s.

Yeah, that makes sense. It is similar to an algorithm, like YouTube or TikTok. It doesn’t matter if its good or not, if it gets the attention its gonna spread it. It seems its up to individual people to gather the truth of what’s going on. One thing I’ve noticed though; If I don’t follow the news… nothing changes in my life. Everything is the same. Of course, its likely good to check to news to see what’s going on, but atleast for me, its the same today as it was yesterday.

Il check out his works. I’ll see if the library has any books of his. Currently the book I am reading has ā€œThe Discourses of Epictetusā€, which I’m currently on, and also ā€œThe Meditations of Marcus Aureliusā€. I haven’t been great at continuing to read the book, I need to read more. I am enjoying it so far. I do enjoy reading, I just need to allott myself time for it.

And don’t forget SPAM stands for Super Processed American ā€œMeatā€

Sneak peak at some of the stuff im doing. These are the worse photos, the good ones will be uploaded in the morning hopefully.
They are moss specimens under the microscope. The bottom one is low quality, I have better quality photos though. That one was when I was figuring out how to make my phone better. I think I was on the lowest photo quality my phone had. Lol. I wonder how much better my photos are going to be of normal stuff in the future.

October 22 2025 W9D3 Cardio day

Did my workout
50 jumping jacks
25m high knees
12 pushups (would have done 20, but chest was a little bit sore so went a bit easier)

The stars were beautiful this morning. I saw Orion, Ursa Major, the Pleiades (Im pretty sure), and of course all the thousands of other stars.

Well.
I think I did good on the PSAT. I ran out of time the last section of the math part. Its because of this problem
(x-2)(x+7)(x+k)
--------------------- Find the value of k where the graph has no y intercept
(x-15)(x+k)

Well, I thought that since the (x+k) canceled out, I could just use the rest and graph it. Well, it has a y intercept. No matter what you put, it would have a y intercept.
WELL. That’s where Im wrong. You have to set the x equal to zero (for the y intercept), and with the given options, the answer is 0. Since x and k is equal to zero, bottom would then have a 0 to multiply by, and since that would mean a division by zero error, x=0 would have no solution, which means no y intercept. Argh. I should have just plugged it in by hand instead of the desmos calculator (it didn’t show undefined value).

Ugh. I got my protein in for the night, and we had a decently healthy dinner. Im too tired to track everything. I’ve been stuck on a problem for about 45 minutes… I asked chatgpt for the answer. I WAS RIGHT 30 MINUTES AGO ITS JUST A STUPID DECIMAL. I have a few more problems but I need to sleep. Tomorrow… Oh! tomorrow I have strength I need my rest. What else. Science program! And math and physics. ay… gotta get to bed. Im about to fall asleep typing this I briefly am paused of all my motor controls and then snap back to it. Mind is empty. I feel like everything and nothing at the same time. Tomorrow more homework, martial arts club is canceled tomorrow because teacher has bus duty. So I can do some of my homework then. Gives me some time to prepare too. I should like to do… something… plan! Thats it. Plan something. What to bring. Papers! something. Goodnight.

October 23rd 2025: W9D4 Strength Day (Core assistance)
I’ve been slacking with my core work, so I think its good that I’m doing this today.
I think I might as well actually calculate the weights im doing for my lifts.

Squat: 205 x 3
OHP: 85lbs, apparently. We will see.
Pullups: +20lbs x 3

Three more weeks after this week until Il test my maxes. I know I’ve gotten stronger, Its obvious. Il be able to test squat again too which is great. Last time I had that calf injury thing

Get to come home for a bit before going to my science thing, so that will be useful. I can do a bit of homework to lighten my load when I finish it tomorrow. Il have more free time.

I’m probably going to be sick soon. I have a sore throat on the left side, and feel it in the left side of my nose also. Happened after I coughed earlier. Advice for how I should approach my training given being sick? I will have strength on Monday. Depending on how I feel tomorrow I might skip my cardio workout.

I feel the sickness coming on. Or I’m just tired from the day.

You can just pause the training while sick and resume it when you feel better.

October 24 2025 W9D5

Im not doing cardio. I think i can push through the day mentally, and thats about it. This sickness feels like its going to be brutal.

nooo… i better feel better by tomorrow (i know im not). I atleast better feel like im not dying(like i soon will be feeling) by monday, thats a reasonable expectation.

I think mom and I have the same bug.

Not sure of today’s schedule when I get home, but tomorrows schedule is going to look something like:
Wake up
Eat
Rest
Eat
Rest
Eat
Rest
Sleep.
That will be about it.

One thing with when im sick is I HATE sweet food. It tastes decent but it makes my sore throat worse. Honey is the exception due to its antimicrobial properties, so that can kill the sickness

I feel I am dying… I see time the beginning the past the present the future the end. Im getting messed up because of this sickness.

I feel the end passin’ by. This is the end of all things. We are not at the end of the end, but we are very close. The start of the end was with The Crucifixion. We are in the great apostasy. Have been a few thousand years. But not everyone has fallen away. Even among the ashes do the flames shine forth. I see the tragedy of the world’s falling and the glory that is to come of the Lord. And as the crossing of the sea, walking through it to the land beyond of hope and of the promised land, so has Jesus Christ’s baptism of The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit delivered us from the burdens of our sin, and has washed us that we may be worthy of his Kingdom.

Oh, how I long for the baptism of both Water and Spirit!
