ZM Strong like Bull training log (Tactical Barbell training log)

I was thinking. A year ago, I would be freaked out to know i eat this much. I was trying to cut last summer, which, it worked but i definitely stunted growth. I would eat less than 1800 a day, sometimes eating like 1500. Thats like barely what my BMR probably was. Im eating double what i ate alot of days a year ago. and just to maintain. Ive gotten alot more muscle im happy with that

Perhaps, but I’m hoping he will also do as he said and log his 3 months of training with Tactical Barbell per the deal he and I had worked out. I’ve got faith of a different kind.

That crossed my mind also. He seemed to be (slowly) distancing himself from the structure of the program; at least that was my impression.

I didn’t notice it myself. More a victim of circumstances. It was cool to see the growth that was occurring.

Im back, for now.

I did my workouts for this week so far, except for today’s ruck; its too hot… Plus, when I went to do it early in the morning, my ankle and knee… wasn’t hurting, but, felt like they were gonna throw a fit.

Yesterday I ran 5 miles. First 2 I did almost nonstop, except for the 10 second rest I give myself to hydrate properly. 60 minute total, because my stomach was hurting from the humidity

I finished the Blanket! It looks and works well. Our cats love it

I have to be a man of my word; I have said that I would track my tactical barbell workouts, and so I shall do as I have said.

Actually, Monday’s SE workout of 3 circuits of 50, only got through 2. More of time constraint of doing it early in the day. I think I will aim for the 3 circuits tomorrow so I can finish it off strong

Oh, my diet
Well it went to crap.
i got through almost another day of that diet, but then we got fried chicken, and, I cant do it. i cant take the breading off, especially since it comes with skin
incidently, I havent tracked my calories for last few days either
Il be doing that again now.
Dont know what job i want yet again. Something science related, Chemist of like a Physicist/Engineer whatever. I have big plans that are top-secret, for now.

Anyone know where i can get one of those old cameras were i can take video logs and have them on cassettes or vhs or whatever? That would be better than digital, no prying eyes from the other side.

Well looks like my saved up money is gonna go to use, If I decide to buy it. Actually not too big of a dent in the long run given I am making 25$ a week, its about 2-3 months of mowing to afford one. Expensive but, really not super bad

3 circuits of 50 reps
Only two more workouts this week. Exciting

Today’s assignments
Start making blueprints for project

Getting diet back on track, went to crap last few days.
Cooking is fun. I made a recipe for something by just making it up, and it worked
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients, add butter and mix thoroughly
Add the egg white, mix into a dough and knead for about a minute
Put dough back in bowl, add egg yolk and milk, and mix and press for about 10-15 minutes until there’s chunks no bigger than a rice grain
Place pan on medium heat, and then ladle some batter onto it. Swirl the pan around to widen the disk. When its able to, flip to the other side.
Once first one is done cooking, brush with butter, then cook another, and place on top, brush with butter again. Do this until you’ve cooked everything, and then add more butter, and then drench in syrup

Its like a pancake, but not. Mom said it looks like "if you took the skin off of vanilla pudding [this is the type you make from the box and cook] and cooked it again

Problems with the recipe:
You should add the liquids all at once so you don’t have to press and mix for like 15 minutes
Needs more liquid so its thinner and cooks right

Kinda like a crepe in a way, kinda like a pancake, kinda like a tortilla but not really. I didnt brush with butter when I made it, since I had it savory with sauteed pepper and tomato. That was the first 3 layers, then the rest I had with maple syrup.
FYI, I was going for dumplings when I made the whatsit, but not really, I know dumplings are made with a dough that’s rolled out

2 slices whole grain oatnut bread
2 eggs
2 tbsp butter
5 breakfast sausages
1 cup 2% milk
1 cup whole greek yogurt
1 tbsp real maple syrup, not that fake stuff wih corn syrup
----Total: 1289 Kcal, 81g fat, 81g carbs, 61g protein

I could buy the recorder I’m looking at, 180 dollars. I have 142$ in my wallet, and I have plenty in my money chest, but, I don’t want to take from it because I want to see how much I get over the summer. 17 days until I can check how much

Those 17 days could be a good cooling off period to see if there is still a want for the recorder.

Well, I don’t just want it, I need it. It will be a very useful tool that will be for documenting my project.

That gets a little philosophical, as then you have to determine if the project is something you need to do or something you want to do.

Wants and needs are always a fascinating topic.

6 ginger snap cookies

workout done. only 1 circuit. I dont know, I think the progression for the SE workouts is a bit fast. Il see this base building in June 2026, after the school year is over, That way Il be able to do that, and by the time im finished il be able to go to the gym by myself since il be 16.

I replaced dips with tricep bench dips, since its a similar motion. I did it last week also.

Im ready for this base building to be over, just one more workout on Saturday; 1 hour run, which will be about 5-6 miles depending on what im able to do.
Time for my italian sandwich for dinner
