Friday, August 1- W5D5-Rest day
Glad i didn’t end up buying the camcorder yesterday. I dont need it. I just REALLY wanted it. Theres 170 dollars i didnt need to spend :partying_face:

Idk what to do today. Gotta do something physical, Ive got too much energy these days bc of that endurance cardio. If it dries up a bit more il take a hike probably. I dont think it will dry up enough to mow neighbors yard but we’ll see. Its currently cloudy and 66’F
Finally, a break from the heat.

That’s it I’m done with this junk food its all crap! No more carbs from grain except for if we have fried chicken, get Italian sandwiches, burgers, other things that we buy.
Need about 80g of protein and have 800 Kcal left, looks like its tuna time. Cant go overboard but I need to have room for dinner. I think we were having on the bone chicken thighs for dinner so that’s good. Last time we had them mom made them perfect.

Dinner and snack earlier: Went on an hour hike, so, I had plenty of calories to spare

1 baked Chicken leg (thigh and drum)
1 baked chicken drum (mom had the thigh)
1/4 cup glazed carrots
1 cup Kraft Mac and cheese (Apparently this is actually not super unhealthy, they changed it I guess)
a few green beans

1 can tuna
1 pack peanut butter honey crackers
9 peanut butter pretzel bites
----Total: 1419 Kcal, 67g fat, 94g carbs, 106g protein

Days total: 185g fat, 306g carbs, 180g protein

Good dinner, scrumptious certainly, Mom always makes the chicken good, nice crispy skin and perfectly rendered fat, or whatever the term for it is.

On another note, Im doing a bio-organic chemistry project. I harvested pine needles from pine trees, and set up a steam reflux apparatus. I had it circulating for about 10 hours before I had to shut down for the night, in the morning I will turn back on.
It is interesting; the color of the liquid is a pretty red color, and the waxy cuticle of the needles is in the water, and since it broke up it has become sparkly. When Im finished and the needles are completely done, I will try to collect this wax.

Well… didnt get to do my run :enraged_face:
I planned on doing it after dinner, since by the time I was able to do it, I was’t sure if dinner was going to be ready in less than an hour or more, so I waited until dinner was done… 1 hour later. I then waited for food to settle enough so I could run… nope. I tried to run, I got bites on my ankle, or some sort of irritation with 3 bumps, where my shoe rubs against it. That’s gonna really irritate and damage my skin. Even if I would have ran, I would be done at 8:20pm… It wouldn’t be dark but, not running that late, sorry.

Well, I have ran an hour before, on Tuesday, I didn’t bring my watch that day to track 50 minutes, so when I came back it was an hour later.

Not today, I try to avoid anything super intense on sundays. Its the Lord’s day, and he provides rest for us.
With the upcoming week, i will run for 45 minutes on Saturday I believe, so im not worried. Also, on Friday I hiked up the big hill/mountain at our house twice, the one time i ran parts of it. So that atleast makes up for a little bit of the run.



Aug 3 W5D7 Rest
This week is finished. Tomorrow I can lift, finally. Ive been looking forward to this, and here it is. I liked base building. It gave me alot of energy, and i feel generally more motivated to do stuff. I can run 2 miles without stopping, never thought i would be able to/ would train to do that, and If i really tried i could probably get a good time.

Assignments today:
Finish crocheting cotton underwear
Start working on plans for upgrading my telescope (It needs to be able to be turned precisely, by degrees and whatnot, and not how it is, where it doesnt stay how i turn it. Will be a big project)

Nice day today again. Fresh cool morning air rejuvinates the body and awakens it as it should.

Got my assignments done for the day. Underwear is not something I can wear during the day. chunkier than I wanted it since I had to change to a different yarn when I was like 1/3 of the way done, and it was a about 2x as thick of yarn. if I had the same yarn I used in the beginning, it would fit pretty good.
For telescope upgrade, I cut out the first gear, later or tomorrow I will finish filing it round and mark and cut the teeth. I still gotta figure out the gear ratios,

I might start knitting a shirt, possibly. Would be good practice for patience and diligence.
