Zero Libido 6 Years After AAS

Physically, yes. I’m sure. Lifts would bounce back fast.

However, what about my sex drive and arousal? Would breaking from the gym finally get those items back? Idk.

I’ve read that link.

Is it possible the opposite is happening? Like TOO many receptors present that the amount of T is basically diluted in its effect?

What do u mean by that then you need more t?

Yes, kinda my thoughts.

So u think you need a lot more test to function cos u have more receptors

I guess I don’t know. I’m just speculating I have too many receptors. OR maybe I have enough and they’re insensitive? Or maybe I don’t have enough. I just don’t know.

If you have soooo many dogs in the pack (receptors) but only so much food (test), will the dog pack’s performance be that good?

Just speculation at best.

Those are two very interesting observations. I consider my TT (332 ng/dl) and FT (7.67 ng/dl) low, but never had problems building muscle or gaining strength.
I assume everything is just way more complex and we may not yet understand half of what’s going on. However, the receptor level seems more important than the FT level.

I think in years to come, once TRT is a bit more conventional and accepted, studies will show this. There will be drugs used to address it as well, not just adding exo T.

@physioLojik is probably the only one here to really make any sounds statements to what were talking of.

This is a decent thread. Receptors can become desensitized over time when in the presence of high test dosages but this is only part of the equation. It comes down to neurotransmitter sensitivity as well. Deca and tren really cause serotonin and dopamine receptors to significantly desensitize over time - the real cause of deca : tren ED issues. Sadly these take a monumental amount of time to fix. Up to 10 times the amount of time on.

To OP - pick a static dosage and stay there for a few months. Change nothing. Add nothing.

As far as androgen receptors - quadacarn from Beverly is amazing at amplifying sensitivity. I have my guys use between 4-8 tabs a day. Works wonders.

Just read your post mate so u think the problem with me is dopamine and serotonin have desensitized over time with using a lot of tren in pass. this is why I have zero libido it’s just time to come bk? Or will quadacarn help recover time to get libido bk on track

Interesting. I was not aware of the effects of L-carnitine on androgenic receptors. There is at least one study that confirms this.

Beverly is top notch too.

Ordering now. Thanks Physio.

That is what I was speaking of, not sure about the others. I think, unless seriously overtrained, libido would be better with exercise/training than without.

There is also a huge psychological component (pathways in the brain, performance anxiety, etc.). I also wonder how libido works in women who have much lower levels of testosterone, way lower than any low low T man, and yet they still have sexual desire. How is that?
I feel that the happier I am the higher my libido. Of course, happiness isn’t easy to measure…

Not sure. Is there some Sort of test to see?

I believe it’s the ratio of e to t. Higher in men, lower on woman.

One huge thing that I find affects libido is getting over 7 hours of sleep in which you have a hefty dose of REM sleep.

Hi mate do u.think that is what’s happened to me dopamine and serotonin have desensitized that’s why I have zero libido.
