Yes, definitely. There is a huge difference between 6 and 7 hours, at least for me. Under 6 and I can’t even function properly. But is it REM or deep sleep (or both) that is important for libido?
So it really is just a waiting game now for libido to return

Personally I doubt any full recovery is possible without intervention and believe there will be treatments in the future that could regenerate the damaged caused by excessive AAS use. At the age of 41 our bodies don’t heal as fast as when we were in our 20’s, once we pass 30 everything starts declining.
I know of guys who were on AAS for years and took breaks and haven’t had erections in 20 years.

Have you looked into depression meds, specifically wellbutrin and buspar?
Known to help in the libido area. I’ve tried both and both gave me times when I felt more libido. I’d def try them (one at a time).

I wouldn’t do that it caused more symptoms and issues.

Both are pretty harmless and definitely worth a try, especially for someone losing hope.

Get a script for a little wellbutrin. It allows dopamine to act a little longer in your brain. A lot of people report increase in libido.
I’ve also tried buspar, which helped too, but for me, it was short lived.
Side effect are pretty rare and mild, if any.
Start wellbutrin 100mg standard (12 hours) release. Give it a month or so to see. If nothing, go off and try buspar 7.5mg twice a day.

Yes. Very common meds.
They are often prescribed off label for libido.
Also, have you ever had prolactin checked?
Yes that’s in range so it’s not that I’ll call my doc ask for it I hope it’s easy to get. He will give it to me no problem. What do I say why I want that one
If he knows of your zero libido issue already, he should easily write the script. Not sure where you’re located, but in the US, it’s used off label for this purpose.
Ask him to start you at the 100mg 12 hour release. There is an extended release (24 hour), but get the 12 hour release pill.
It’s totally worth a try given Test is doing nothing for you.
Bupropion is the name of the generic version.
