Hi I wonder if anyone can help cut long story short I was on aas for 20years. I came off over 6 years ago I have zero libido I’ve seen few docs. And a endocrinologist I wake up with erections but I have no libido I cannot get it up it’s like the switch in my brain has been turned off. If I pull one off I stuggly to get it hard if I do the libido is not there with it. I’ve tried going back on high test and even tried tren to kick it bk in with no luck I’ve had loads of blood tests nothing is out of range.my endocrinologist said it’s not hormones it’s the brain it will come bk in time it’s been two years now still no improvement. I’ve tried trt with no luck still ed no libido.just wondering if anyone has been though this does the libido return thanks
Would you provide your age, height, weight, any other (medications, etc.) relevant history, such as your steroid program, cycles, etc.? When did your symptoms start, are they progressing? Also, post your lab results.

There may be others necessary, but this list is a good place to start.
Hi I’ve had all them bloods done a while ago it was all in range I would have to see if I can get a print off if possable .I’m 44 I was taking ass for 20years never did pct came off for 4 weeks at most bk on. I was doing big courses 1000mg test wk I’ve done all sorts tren to over the years. Since I stopped I have zero libido I’ve tried all sorts to get it bk. Going bk on gear. I’ve done hcg even tried tren to get it bk with on luck on anything I do I’m 5 9 I’m not on anything as I’ve tried I saw a private doc to he put me on trt with no luck. He said I have damaged my receptors in my brain. My endocrinologist said it’s my brain it will come bk in time this has been going on 5 years now I don’t think it is coming bk. Any help this has really got me down just don’t no what I have done to myself why it’s not coming bk. Can’t get aroused no matter what it’s like I don’t feel sexual thoughts.every single day my balls tighten up though out the day And penis to is this my brain what is causing this? there is no sensitivey down there just feels numb I’m guessing that’s because have no libido. That’s not good enough, in ranges doesn’t guarantee no symptoms especially if your at the bottom end, an endocrinologist doesn’t typically specialize in sex hormones and the comment about it will come back in time is just comical, endocrinologist is the wrong type of doctor to see for your issues.
Labs talk volumes and you have posted none. There aren’t many doctors who take insurance that are knowledgeable in this area of medicine, if you want to find someone knowledgeable in HPTA disruption do to AAS, you need to find a doctor who is into sports medicine or anti-aging which is outside the traditional medical system.
The traditional medical system has ignored testosterone for the last 70 years do to false studies associating TRT with prostate cancer, this has kept doctors away from TRT and is why so few doctors are skilled at TRT.
Ok i understand what your saying why is it I went bk on gear and even done try with a private doc I still am suffering with the same symptoms. I can post bloods up this was awhile ago as this has been going on for 5 years now. If I do high test or low I still feel nothing in libido and I was taking ai to keeping my eastrogen at about 70/ 80 pmol my testroterone was 28 I was on test e 125mg week my prolactin was 128 sign was about 48 I no this can’t remember numbers with rest I would have to call my doc and ask for them. Would u no why I have no libido after all this time.i did pay to see a private doc who deals in trt He is the one who said I’ve damaged my receptors they r not responding? I did see another endo he said being on aas the time I was on can change the brain and limbic system. I don’t no that’s why I’m on here to get help as I’m not getting no better I’m struggling everyday getting worse really not coping with life just can’t get happy in myself knowing I’m not right.
So 44 and on AAS since you were 24 is that about right? Or did you start younger?
Here is a timeline that might help you ONCE you get your testosterone stabilized.
I started at 19 been off ass for 5 years now see no matter what I have done trt or high dose. Even if I’m off not on trt I’m getting same symptoms. I’m getting morning erection not everyday. But I have zero libido. If I try to pull one of watching porn I struggle to get it up if I do the libido is not there soon as i let it go it goes straight down.i cant get aroused at all i get no sexual thoughts i am never horny. Its like that connection is missing from the brain if this makes sence. i did see a private doc he said my receptors r damaged not responding. Yet my endocrinologist said it will come bk in time. I don’t have a clue what is causing this. I have not had sex with my wife for few years that’s how bad it is. I feel sorry for her told her to leave me for someone she can have a sex life with. Really am not coping praying it will come bk. I no it’s probably no one can help just wanted to no if anyone else had this if it bounces bk in time. I am experiencing exactly same symptoms as you.
I have been on trt for a little over 3 years now and was doing okay on it until I tried to get off of it. I also had a live changing event last year which may have had an effect or not.
I am back on TRT but libido, desire, wood are all completely gone. It is like the brain is not receiving any signals from down there. Very frustrating…

Testosterone to estrogen ratios is the biggest reason for lowered libido on TRT, I microdose an AI and within hours erections occur.
How long have u been on trt for now? Did u have libido before on trt if not when did it come bk.being on trt the first time… Do u think the libido will return in time.? What do u think is causing it. I was doing trt with same symptoms eastrogen was in check so I stopped trt as no improvement I’ve not been on anything now for 2 years still got the same symptoms
My last bloods came back with E2 at 79 and test more than the max.

There’s your problem, I had erectile issues in the 40’s.
I have messed around with ai doeses when on trt if it was high or low I still was no better. This is something else what Is causing this.
You need someone like anabolicdoc.com he specializes in helping men bring there system back online after AAS abuse. Check out his youtube videos. That’s who I would see if I was in your shoes.
Hi yes I no who u mean I have spoke with him. He has told me it’s the tren that has messed me up. That long term abuse changes the brain the limbic system can be damaged from all this. He don’t no if the libido will return or not it all depends on my brain Just seeing if it’s comes bk on it’s own. I live in fear everyday praying it will come bk.
Have you checked thyroid. What about dht? I think dht plays a big role in labido.
I believe You can take a test to check and see if receptors are good or bad. Saliva test?
That doc I referred to above is awesome. He’s spent his entire career helping men like you. I would contact him. You don’t need a simple trt doc.

Marc, many guys starting this young, without regular breaks and without a three month break every year, have long term trouble. The thought is that it is a bad idea starting AAS young, prior to your natural endocrine system getting established,
When you have tried higher dosing on TRT, how high and what levels did you reach?
Not working out at all. No libido, no wood and sexual thoughts…
That really goes to show how hormones can effect us differently and there is a no one size fits all approach.
That 79 was my LC/MS/MS number, ECLIA test on the same sample was 55.
