For the first time in many moons I stepped on the scale today and it read below 260. I am now a lean, mean 259. Skin and bones now.

I ate an entire rack of ribs last night…

as a midnight snack.

I had to go to the grocery store last night. The wife did the weekly grocery shopping w/o me on Sunday. She didn’t get enough meet. I picked up an extra gallon of milk, 3 lbs of steak, a pound of roast beef, a big container of cottage cheese. I walked in the door and she asked what all of that was for. I said for tonight and tomorrow. She had already cooked 1.5 pounds of chicken and 1lb of turkey.

I won’t be letting her grocery shop alone again for awhile. Or at least I will be putting quantities next to my needed items.

Its threads like this that remind me how small I really am, cause at my gym I’m enormous.

Time for me to start looking for a meet in the spring. I need something to train for. My training is all over the place if I don’t have a clear goal. But I hope to get stronger and compete in the 242 class.

Meat and Pete, I’m drooling thinking about ribs and a nice steak. Add a baked potatoe and salad with blue cheese dressing I be in heaven.

I’ll have to try the front squats off pins. Sounds painful. I feel tiny going over to Pete and Meats threads. But I’m going to start a heavy powerlifting cycle soon and get a little closer to them.(I hope)

Thanks guys. Trying to get back on track. Been spinning my wheels for a few weeks now. Need to focus each workout on moving myself closer to my goals. Dead 600, squat 600 to depth, clean/press BW. Bench is on hold until my left shoulder is better. Jim Beam and diet ginger ale have been my friends tonight. Deads on Sunday. Good weekend to everyone.

Good goals. Enjoy the Beam. My ginger ale was flat, so stuck with rocks, splash of water. Better that way.

How are you going to set up your training for the meet prep?

This looked easy on paper but sets of 10 rep deads wiped me out. I wanted to do ab rolls as well but will have to do them tomorrow.
