Just hit the gym for another 50 chins/pullups (75 total today) and a bunch of various kinds of pushups. I have to go to open house tonight at the kids school. This is making me feel better about not working out tonight.
A good challenge would be 1000 chinups,1500 pushups and 1000 step ups (each leg) in a week.
holy crap, if you piece all of that together through out the day that is one nice training session. In my teens I ended up with the very unique position of having a complete hardcore gym, equipment wise, in my basement. Long story.
Of course, the overzealous teenager, I would do things like squat at 10 a.m., go hang out with friends and they would want to bench, so do that at 3 p.m., then sit and read Flex and end up doing a full lat and bicep workout at 10 p.m. Those were the days.

Hey - with enough milk - anything is possible. Doug Hepburn used to - and Justa does - take long breaks between movements. You come in nearly fresh on the 2nd and third lifts.
KMC, 100 pushups straight is nuts. I maybe could get 50 on a good day(more likely 40-45).
Pete, youth is a wonderful thing. Didn’t even know we had it so good.
Skid, gallons of mild seems to be the cure for those wanting to get big and strong. Going to be a staple in my diet when I get back into training for a meet.
MJ, Hel could play Santa. I want to be Yukon Cornelius.
I’ve been trying to better use my downtime at work. I just did a short (bodyweight) glutes, pushups, and pullups workout. I have a light afternoon and will probably do it again and maybe some stretching.

Today was my first time ever squatting without back pain. My knee also felt good. I was hitting the safety pins at the bottom of my squat. Never done that before either. So I’m not happy that my squat weights are dropping but pumped I was pain free and got deeper into my squat.
Great work my brother! Fight every workout to keep your weights the same. You should be able to maintain a large percentage of your admirable strength.
Thanks guys.My legs are aching this morning. I had to pop two tylenol last night because the knees were keeping me awake. I don’t think I can pull the sled today. I’ll have to swing the sledge hammer.
Eco… just caught up from the last 4 pages… awesome training buddy. You are missing the Canadian content to your superhero team… Wolverine is already taken… settle for a bunny with rabies and a bad attitude?
