Sometimes I think I am stupid for getting up so damn early! But I’m no stud. I have been getting up early ever since graduating college for work. Now I get up 20 minutes earlier and report to work 20 minutes later. Plus I dont sleep worth a crap, so its not a big deal for me.

I have a lot of respect for people like you JW. I can get up early for work or to take the kids to hockey but getting up and lifting is entirely different. I’m sticking with calling you ‘stud’.

All I do early is get on the hamster wheel, I have had some stints lifting early but it just doesn’t work well for me. I am much more of an afternoon lifter these days.

i used to lift at 5am up to a couple years ago, then my schedule changed. now, when i try to lift in the morning, my lower back/hips are super tight, and I can’t get them to loosen up. all i can do early is drag my sled…

JW isnt stupid, but that is a funny typo, I dont know how I used to get up at 4 and run, do hills
other equally obnoxious shit go to wrestling practice etc.
I am getting soft, really I have NO grip in the morning and am too tight.

Funny, I can get up and do an hour of cardio, walk miles, go fishing, etc., but I can’t lift a damn thing until late morning or afternoon.

Thanks guys. Last night did kick my ass. I’m not losing weight any more to look pretty. I went to the doc after years of not going. I was 276 lbs, high BP and all my blood numbers are very bad. So now I have fear pushing me into shape. I go back in three months and see where things are then.

MM, I’m not as good as you at multi-tasking - staying strong while getting svelt. I’ll have to get all ripped then get the bench,squat and dead numbers back up. You’ll be benching twice your bodyweight in no time.
