My back felt completely better today so I hit the weights. This week I wanted to keep most of the sets btw 10-15 reps. Next week 8-10 reps. I did the french press to stretch my tight tris. Also, my hand gripper arrived and I’ve been using it quite a bit. I took Bunny’s advice and took it in the car. I felt like a bodybuilder today(don’t laugh OK).
Nice work,
I like the high reps, those are allot of work.
Taking other peoples money like rounders way to bring in the new year

Four sets of 100 with 225 front squat? There’s a blow your lunch event right there. That is hardcore Eco!
Dan, it was sets of 10 not 100.
KMC, I have the 100 lb captains of crush gripper. I’ve been using it every night while watching tv. I like it.

Just wondering if any of you guys are experiencing information overload. Every day I come across new ideas that I want to incorporate into my training. It’s been driving me nuts. Has me all over the board with my workouts. Just so much good stuff out there that it makes it difficult.
I sure do, ADD and new bright and shiny stuff all the time.
I am happy to be doing a “program” cause dude is smarter than me,
but at the same time I see all the cool and new shiny stuff every one is doing and I want to do that too…
it seems to make me talk really fast too.

I once heard it referred to as training OCD. I kind of enjoy working with a template myself now so I don’t go chasing after all the pretty lights, just stay focused on what I need to do each particular session.

All the time. I experimented with a bunch of stuff when I started lifting again. Read like crazy tried everything out, pestered Meat for a program eventually, but still kept tweaking it.
Eventually I think I’ve found a setup/programming that works for me for the meantime. I have a bigger toolbox too and I have a better idea how to use the tools in it. I’d say try everything that interests you and throw away anything that doesn’t work.
You’ll know after a while what it is that works for you under what circumstances, but there’s no getting around the experimentation part to get to that point.

Every Damn Day!!

front squat 275 5x5
DE box squat 275 10x2
ab roll 3 sets
BW lunges and plyo jumps
The front squats really stretch my quads. I was in pain every rep. Going to try and be like Jwilly, Hel and Pete and get up early tomorrow for a workout. We’ll see what happens when the alarm goes off.
Nice work Eco.
Front squats kick my ass too.
If you get up and train , your a better Man then me.
Jwilly is a stud for training that hard that early-
Hel and Pete too.
