That isn’t a lie. That is positive thinking…
Where, in the rep, do you get stuck (when maxing)? I always get stuck about 4" off my chest. If I could push through that, I think it would add 20# to my max.

I get stuck 1/2 way. I should be doing more 3 and 4 board pressing.
I’ve been meaning to include some board presses but haven’t gotten any boards yet. I’m a slacker.
Making boards has been my only excuse to use my Ryobi table saw so far this year…
Nice work, Eco, BTW.

I would have totally bought that your capable of 385 still those are solid presses.

Maybe for one rep KMC but not five. Thanks
Despite the misprint nice solid lifting. I haven’t done straight up CG benching in a little while, might after DE work Friday to see where it is at.

I am continually impressed with the lifting in this forum.
Thanks for the kind words Pete. Can’t wait to see what you CGB. You’re where I hope to be some day.
Me too SteelyD.
7/8
deadlift 325x5,375x5,425x7(no belt)
RDL 250x10-had to stop low back spasm
leg curl 100x10,10 75x10,10,10
ab roll out 5 sets, 5 reps
The left side of my low back went into spasm on the first set of RDLs. I didn’t want to stop the workout so I did leg curls and ab roll outs because they didn’t hurt.
This forum is full of such exceptional lifters. Where else do you find this many people doing deads, bench, squat and an occasional O-lift. Most gym members would look at us as if we were nuts.

We hold enough weight over our chests to break all our ribs if dropped, put enough weight on our backs to crush us if we slip, we try to lift a 1/4 ton plus more off the floor, we cause ourselves all manner of aches and pain. All at an age when most people consider using the remote exercise. And all for the huge reward of just being able to do it. Let’s face it, we are a little nuts. Ain’t it great.

Nice work Eco.
I am both impressed and motivated
serious lifters giving you the E support you need has been a big boost to my training.

i have Joweee chalk my back between heavy sets on the bench so i don’t slide up the bench. i finished with floor presses and noticed after the first set that i left a perfect back chalk print on the floor. in my mind, common sense dictates that i should create my best chalk angel on the next set.

No, that is still a little nuts. But you have to be a little nuts to get done what needs to get done in the gym.
