Ive had problems squating for quite some time. Tore both my medial and lateral meniscus. Two surgeries, and its not like they repair it and shim it up with something, they just remove the torn cartilidge and its bone on bone. Anyway, I tried zerchers for the first time today, and it felt great. My bad knee didnt fall in, I had no pain in my knee, and I had complete balance all the way. My question is, if I do zerchers exclusively, is there a major portion of my legs that I am not going to develop? Ive already searched the site for this and couldnt find any answers to my particular question. I thought there might be some more informed lifters signed on at this time.
ur good to go

Slighty off topic, but did they recommend or bring up using cadaver meniscus replacements at all? There have been some great successes recently with those types of replacements. Just curious.

I had two separate surgeries and that never came up. I even asked the nurse after she told me I needed surgery, “arent you going to shim it up with something?” and she laughed and said no.
Having 2 surgeries you probably know this but the major problem with replacing knee cartilage is that there is limited blood flow to the area. So replacing the cartliage only works if the tears are in the small area that gets blood. I’ve had the cartilage in my knee removed too. Squat while you can because we’re doomed to arthritis.
Holy shit! Zerchers smoke the shit out of your lower back. Gonna take some getting used to.
