How are you doing these? Lying sideways on a bench with a dumbbell, or standing and using a cable? If DB’s then I am impressed!![/quote]

standing with cables.

Cool, maybe I will try that sometime to see how I match up. I usually do 10 lb DB’s for maybe 20 reps. I don’t train to failure, and considering you are using high reps too, I am assuming you don’t either. I look forward to the pics.

trust me, you ain’t looking forward to my tubby ass.

I think cables are far superior for them, but whatever floats your boat. I’ve been doing high rep work recently becuase I feel I need to get bigger before I focus on absolute strength again. I think I’ve stalled out so much is because I don’t have as much mucsle as I should had I balenced my rep ranged out more.

pics are going to be delayed for a few days. I need to figure out how to make the camera work on my computer.

Front double bi

excuse the sloppy wind tossed hair and khakis. Bad day at work.

back

I suck at posing

and I need a lot more width, and a lot less fat. My traps are also very uneven.

As you know, pullups/downs are going to give you some more back width. I personally like the wide neutral grip pullups and downs. I can establish the best mind-muscle connection … much better than pronated/supinated grip pulls.

Along with my quads, my back width is the best feature of my currently unimpressive physique. I tend to give the lats tremendous priority because I think a great majority of otherwise excellent physiques on this site (and in the gym) just have poor back width. Not to mention, the muscles kick ass. Good luck dude.

I was going to try the hammer grip chins next week. I’ll post about it on thursday.

My back is thick as hell compared to the rest of me. YOu just can’t tell so much in that picture because I’m pale and chubby.

My legs are pretty decent so far too. But they just need more. When I can close stance leg press 8 plates per sidex20 I’ll post another picture of them.

My arms and chest and lats need to be brought up. And I need to lose some fat before I choke myself to death from apnea O_O.

short term goals:
hammer grip chin me+70 pounds for 10
leg press 10 plates per sidex20
up my bench and bumbell bench
365 squat
455 deadlift
me+25x12 glute ham
365x5 SLDL

I’m hoping ot accomplish most of this in the next 3ish months.

look at those stretch marks. u getting too big too fast son!

Given your squat and DL numbers, I know your back has good thickness. Mine is shitty, but my width is OK. That comes from being a swimmer for many years, though.

Plus, I think you mentioned 27" legs or something similar. Even at your BF%, those are still pretty serious legs. And, considering your squat and DL numbers again, I believe it.

I am almost scared to see what happens to you when you hit ~18 years old. God help us. When I turned 19 I went from 135 to 155 with a little bit of (poorly planned) lifting and a slightly increased diet. If only the next 20 lbs was that easy.

No such thing.

I had a spiderweb looking thing of stretchmarks on my thighs.

205x0

DB overhead press RP
45x8x4x2 PR

tricep extentions

working my way back up:
deadlift

405x1 went for a double, started stalling about 2-3" from locking out, strap slipped.

RDL:
315x5
335x3

DB rows
1x15

cable rows
120x15
132x8

Pinwheel curls
65 10x6x6 work my way up to 20x.x.

Preacher curls
45x20 so little weight, so much lactic acid.
55x7
55x5

Sorry for no update today guys, I’m very sick. I took a pretty large doseage of a nighttime cold medicine that was supposed to get me to sleep, and I still got 0 hours of sleep last night. I stayed home from school.

sore throat+bad headache+stuffy nose+can barely breathe.

Today:

boxsquats
135x5
185x3
225x3
275x3
295x3PR

Hammer grip chins
me 10x8x5 Amazing how weak pulldowns will leave you at these for such similar movements.

Leg press:
5 plates per side x5
6x5
7x5
8 15x8x5 RPed
No heavy set today, massive PR however.

Keep going strong, btw, i thought your comment about your “windtossed hair” was gold.

Self-romanticization. It gets you laid.
