Don’t give up on the closer grip, it has really saved my shoulder. Weighted dips have really made up for any strength loss that a narrower grip has.

I completely understand. Keep plugging away and results WILL come. Heck you’ve made great progress as it is. The only thing separating our lifts is bench, military, and I weigh a good 40 lbs more than you!
