Started taking Z-12 a week or so into my Velocity Diet. And boy do I love me some Z-12 after a long day! I started with one capsule and haven’t gone up in doseage since. I don’t take it every night, only when I feel like I have a lot on my mind or need to relax. But I have found that after taking one, I fall into a really deep sleep with crazy dreams, but then wake up within 2 hours of taking it. This happens every time and then it’s difficult to fall back asleep.
I just find it ironic that its always 2 hours after taking a cap, then shooting up out of a deep sleep. Has anyone else had this? I’ll do the obvious thing and up the dosage, but I just thought it was strange
It’s why I don’t use Nyquil. I’ve heard benadryl is good for passing out, but in the end I was so slammed during grad school that I got ambien from my doc, which works well.
I’m a little weary about taking Z-12. The aforementioned nyquil and benedryl have always jacked me up like they were speed and I worry I may have similar effects with the Z-12
Lights out for me with benadryl. I was skeptical to take the Z-12 at first in fear of getting the nyquil/benadryl feelings. But its completely different. I dont feel groggy at all in the morning or run down or have that sluggish feeling. the only problem I have with it is that I wake up! I’ll take 2 tonight and see what happens.
perhaps I may not wake up at all. Call the police if I dont respond in a couple of days.
The only thing I notice when I take Z-12 is that my mind is still foggy in the morning, but my body moves around like I’ve been up for hours. It’s pretty weird, but I’m definitely not complaining.

I’ve had that problem with nyquil (not benedryl, that shit knocks me tfo), but I love Z-12. I want to tell you all that it’s crap so the price will drop, but I can’t do that…I just got another bottle of it because I haven’t slept nearly as well since I ran out. Two or three Z-12 and I sleep like a baby, waking up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. I even have to get up to feed the little one during the night, and have no problems falling right back to sleep. Throw some zma in it, and you wake up wondering what the hell is wrong with your head after the dreams you have.
I bought a bottle about a week ago, and I can honestly say that it does nothing for me. I took the full dosage right off the bat with a full dosage of ZMA as well. It doesn’t help me fall asleep, it doesn’t help keep me asleep, and I don’t wake up feeling any different than I normally do.

A friend of mine was like that too. Do you or have you taken any anti-anxiety medication? My friend has and I’m suspecting that has something to do with it.

Same. I guess we suffer from the adverse side-effects of those products.
Its done for me what almost every sleep aid has helped me with…Staying asleep
Unfortunately this has never been my problem, mine has been getting to sleep in the first place.
I do wake up refreshed and have very vivid dreams and an incredibly deep sleep which is nice but I’m still searching for a product that actually helps with the first bit.
