i have major troubles falling asleep. I really don’t know why either, I have been avoiding caffeine and i’m not stressed. I’ve always been a night person and have been trying to get my natural clock to change a bit, to be more awake in the morning.
I was thinking of giving a sleep supp. a try. A friend suggested Valerian Root but I hear ZMA is also very good (plus some test boosting?) Any suggestions?
Check out Z-12. I have heard great things and a friend of mine says he no longer needs Ambien. Plus, he wakes up feeling much better then he did while on prescription pills.
I have never tried Z-12 but I’ve heard good things about it.
I am currently taking ZMA and I love the stuff. It puts me in really deep sleep and gives me some uber vivid dreams. I was literally dying when Biotest went out; I would have a hard time falling and staying asleep.
i’ve been taking 2 most nights and it has changed my world.
3 is really weird for me. i lay in bed all night patiently and feel good in the morning but i feel like i’m awake the whole time.
1 works great but i don’t fall asleep quite as fast.
i’ve been taking Z-12 since it came out. this is the one supplement that i cannot hype enough. i love me some of the other supplements but the effects of Z-12 are immediate and way beyond just lifting.
Biotest should market the hell out of this product.
ZMA was great for a while but the effects went away after a little bit for me. not the case with Z-12.
Have you noticed a drop off effect after taking Z-12 after a while. I’m a little worried that my body will get acclimated to it and it will either: not work anymore or need more of it to feel its effects
i haven’t. not only have i not noticed a decrease in effectiveness but the nights that i don’t take it is sleep better than i remember sleeping in the past.
My report on Z-12, plus some favorite dosing suggestions to play with:
This is one supp that I can pass out to people at my gym to try, and the next day they immediately get online and order a couple of bottles. Great stuff.
I haven’t tried Z-12 and I’m not sure why (always wanted too). I have supplemented with ZMA (when ever I have the extra cash I order it), but I’ve found that ZMA doesn’t help me fall asleep. It just helps me get better sleep when I DO fall asleep. Since I have a hard getting to sleep in the first place, I should order Z-12 and give it a shot.
I have a really busy mind, especially when I lay down for bed. I start thinking about EVERYTHING, no matter how tired I am and it gets really annoying. When I used Z-12, I didn’t have this problem at all. I’d lay down 30 minutes after taking it and I was out like a light. I’d use it Sunday night through Thursday night, and cycle off Friday and Saturday since I have plenty of time to sleep those nights and I’m out late anyways so it’s impractical to use then for me. I think the cycling helped keep it really effective for me week in and week out.
When I get some extra cash flow I’ll definitely test this out!
I should mention though, that my body is pretty “resistant” to drugs/supplements. The sleep aids I find at the local grocery stores don’t really do much for me.
Do you think Biotest is willing to send out 1 day samples of Z-12. I really would like to try it out before cashing out 35 bucks for a whole bottle.

Magnesium by itself too. ZMA doesn’t really work for me. But if I take some Magnesium pills (Poliquin’s Ubermag) or magnesium oil then I can feel myself start to get tired after a bit.

ZMA has the same effect on me. When ever i have trouble falling asleep i take 1.5g l-tryptophan and 3mg of melatonin and im out like a rock within 30 minutes

What is it about L-tryptophan that makes you sleepy? It is also in my Ubermag pills (oh btw, I just burped up magnesium powder like 5 mins ago… yeah).

Not my department, but I think they offer a money back guarantee.
Honestly though, I’ve never given someone a sample that it didn’t work brilliantly for. I see no reason to EVER get a prescription drug when something this powerful, effective and healthful exists. Biotest just knocked this one out of the park.

“L-tryptophan plays a role in the synthesis of both melatonin and serotonin”
