:slight_smile: If people are interested, it costs $4.99 for a 2 ounce bottle at my local Whole Foods Market. You can buy it cheaper on Amazon, especially if you don’t pay shipping. There’s a grain wholesale place here called Honeyille that sells it in a 50 pound bag, but they are currently out of stock so I couldn’t price. If you are REALLY into buying in bulk, it runs about $7,000 dollars per metric ton on the commodities exchange, which works out to about $0.20 per ounce. Anyone want to go in on some quar gum with me?

In terms of just adding some fiber, and making your shake more filling psyllium husk is the way to go. I think it runs about $6 dollars per pound at my local Mother’s Market.

I like a shake that has 1/2 cup of oats, 1 scoop casein, 1 scoop whey, 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1 tbsp natural peanut butter. I got this from Antoine V

I just discovered this stuff…it’s amazing! I usually put two tablespoons in with 3 scoops of whey protein…that gives me 65 grams of tasty protein for 325 calories. Perfect for a fat bastard like me.

HAHAHA I was just going to post my favorite recipe of 3 scoops ON 100% whey (chocolate) with 4 seconds under the tap of water (I don’t know how much that is I just know it’s 4 seconds under the tap).
