Your Summer Goals?

Actually revaluating things, I think that is my number one goal. My left shoulder is still not 100%. I took a week off flat bench, came back it felt much better, but the chest training session a week after it was worse.

I think the culprit is HS Front Press so I will be permenately dropping that shit from my training and hopefully I’ll soon be back to normal.

Anyways everyones goals look great. Good luck to you all.

Strength and size is taking a back seat for a while-I put on weight (fat AND muscle) real easy, but I want ‘hawt abz’ like I used to have before I got obsessed with being hewg, the emphasis for now is on low body fat, really getting fucking ripped and nice, hard quality muscle.

I plan to add calories very carefully, and weigh/calculate macronutrients and other factors,no more second guessing or rounding up or down.
I want a nice balanced physique like CT,say.

Sorry I meant my goal is to hit 290, I just realized I made it sound like I was already 290, my mistake.

Make sure to post a vid when you hit that 405 bench, and it doesn’t count unless your mom is spotting. :stuck_out_tongue:

Avoid getting tendinitis… again.

My summer ends in 4 weeks, but I am hoping to squat 405 for 6 cleanly by then. Getting my squat up is priority number 1 right now.

summer is way off but I’d hope to add .4 inch on both arms to bring them to 18’ by september my diet is a limiting factor atm if I cleaned it up and got in some more protein I’d be set…

I’d also like to behind the neck smith machine press 110kg for 10 reps, current doing 90x5…need to bring these shoulders up,

db bench the 110’s for 10(using the 94’s for 6 at the moment(still getting used to balancing the dumbbells))

by september I want to db row the 55kg db’s for 20+ reps(currently getting 5-8 reps)

by september I want to be able to barbel row 150kg for 10 reps(current best is 140kgx6)

by the end of the year I want to be able to do the 300lbs lat pull down stack for 10(did 260x10 yesterday)

also be able to wear shorts without being embarassed by my puny calves

attainable goals? yes, it’s just going to take dedication, motivation and commitment

Hit 305 bodyweight while mantaining body fat percentage. Also clean and strict press 290, and incline bench 365.

pull ups. 3 by my birthday (july 21st)
i weight around 280lb and its not exactly all muscle, so to be able to do 3 good pullups would be an awesome feeling.

i also wanna hit the bodyweight bench by my 20th birthday im up around 100lb ATM so its do-able.

further goals are to loose about 76lb by october ( not really summer but oh well)

Deadlifting 600lbs and Squatting close to 650lbs would be awesome by September.

So at least maintaining my squat while “rehabbing” this www.exrx.net/Muscles/TibialisAnterior.html

I did something to it. A month off of squatting didn’t help, so I’m trying the high volume/lighter weight approach. I don’t think this issue is going away anytime soon.

500lb DL even though I fucked up my trap last week. This is a shorter term problem. Feels better everyday.

I’m a soft 220 @ 6’0". I’d like to get to 240+ by 12/31/09 at the same BF. (ha ha, duh…) Not that I am itching to be lean, but I don’t want to get too much fatter either.

Actually stop being a fag and do cardio of some sort. BB complexes or something, anything.

And actually be able to press. God I’m a weak little girl on presses.

My goal is to maintain until I get a job and can afford some damn food. My bench is going up slowly though, so I guess I’d like to hit 315lbs for reps by the end of summer. Oh, and I also want to get my knees healed up at last.

Still Way…Haha

Pack on the pounds, 20lbs of muscle would be nice, 5’8…almost
Bench sets of 5 at 250lbs
Deadlift 400 lbs

Austin, what are you hack squating now?

I’m gonna try Poliquin’s 6-1 principle for 30 days, see if I put on any muscle, and then go on an intense cutting cycle for 2 weeks. As of now, I’m currently doing the shredded in 6 days from thibs program for 4th of july.

Lol the 8 plates per side I was talking about is more like a longer term goal compared to getting my bench and curls and stuff up cause I’m only using 5 plates per side for my atg reps and although not much compared to some guys I’m happy at how I’m doing coming off a low back and knee injury. I’ve also increased this lift 20 pounds per week going on like 4-5 weeks now.

I probably could do 8 plates per side if I did 1/4 hack squats like some of the people at the gym do ;).
