Hell yea man.
To be honest, I can only really train to rap… there’s something with the rhythym and heavy bass that fits perfectly into boxing.
Not to mention most of the stuff is violent anyway, always good for lifting.
Some of you crack me up. So it’s okay for white guys to act all hard when they’re singing/screaming “rock” music about how angsty their lives are. Freaking Woody Allen with a microphone and amp.
But when black guys talk about their struggles, it’s somehow uncool or too contrived?
It’s all good what you want to listen to. But don’t act as if the same things said about rap can’t also be said about death metal, etc.
“Why can’t we be friends” by War
If it’s good enough for Homer.

indeed indeed
cant really connect punches to metal punk or anything else but rap. i listen to metal when i lift, rap when im tagging that bag upppp
I’m sure there are more I could come up with, for humor, or otherwise, but I settled with these:
Blind Guardian - I’m Alive
Iced Earth - Damien
HORSE The Band - Cutsman
PIG - The Only Good One’s A Dead One
KMFDM - Ultra
And Dethklok - Mermaider

And it worked pretty damn good too.
I have the rick Astley song as my first choice! lol
I think it would be funny to walk into some Sade as well.
This has to be the song that I will (i mean this with all seriousness) walk into someday
I reccomend everyone click this:
wow funny idea… i wish the song would switch to this as soon as i see one of the ring girls or something

When did any of us say that here? I said I don’t like rap because I feel it is used too often. I didn’t say it was bad or that metal was better.
Well, if I was ever gonna step into a ring, it would probably be The Book by Vader.
Really, even if you’re not a fan of metal, give the intro a listen.
The odds of me ever stepping into a ring [octagon, steel cage, etc…] are pretty slim, but if I did I’d enter to Commons the corner, Mobb deep’s survival of the fit or New Orders blue monday. There are hundreds more I’m sure, but those are the three that popped in my head when I thought of it.
Great posts by Xen Nova, he has good music choices. Some of you guys are picking songs that everybody uses.
THESE ARE REAL INTRO SONGS. Long intros but once the beat drops, ITS ON!!
When you hear this song played, you know I’m a Nasty son of a bitch.
Tarzan Bitch
If I walk down the ramp to this music, I would kill both Fedor and Randy Courture with my bare hands.
