Yea Pantera is workout music to me.

Slayer for metabolic work.

Slayer - Raining Blood
Dropkick Murphys - Flannigan’s Ball
Bad Religion - In the Night
Descendents - Suburban Home
Bohse Onkelz - Paradies

Currently at least.

Contractor - Lamb of God
Shock - Fear Factory
Bring It - Soulfly
5 Minutes Alone - Pantera
Here Comes the Pain - Slayer

Live for this - Hatebreed
I will be heard - Hatebreed
Walk - Pantera
Fucking Hostile - Pantera
Sad but True - Metallica

I was kidding about slayer, most of its too fast. Some of the new stuff might work, and select older tracks. I think in high school I tried doing situps and pushups with Angel of Death in the background and the tempo threw me off.

I could never listen to bad religion either, even though I love them to death. Like sometimes I wish Greg Graffin was my dad.

Its all about the mid-tempo angry grooves for me. I mostly alternate between Far Beyond Driven and Vulgar Display of Power. Pretty much any track except the Black Sabbath cover.

Some of the old break dance music picks me up when I’m ready to quit;

Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force - Looking For The Perfect Beat
Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force - Planet Rock
Pac Jam
Twilight 22 - Electric Kingdom
Planet Patrol - Play At Your Own Risk

Unearth - Grave of Opportunity
Disarmonia Mundi - Nihilistic Overdrive
Helloween - Can’t Fight Your Desire
Sonic Syndicate - Dead Planet
Avantasia - Another Angel Down

Pantera- Domination
Pantera- Medicine Man
Pantera- Slaughtered
Metallica- Sad but True
Metallica- Don’t Tread on Me

I don’t listen to music. I focus instead.

The top 5 in my top 25 most played on my itunes (crap that was a mouth full)

Ashes- 5 Finger Death Punch

A New Beginning- Threat Signal

Feel The Break- Dry Kill Logic

This Calling- All That Remains

The Age in Which Tomorrow Brings- Burn In Silence

I switch to calmer stuff for cardio though. These songs’ll burn you out if you run to 'em.

I can understand pantera, slayer, and the like. But it’s so played out that when I hear it i dont pay attention, just washes into the backround. You guys gotta checkout some new stuff, alot of these bands are damn talented and perfect for the gym.

Pantera is the most metal. Bones, brain and cock deep down stronger than all

Pantera- Cowboys from hell
Dry Kill Logic- Rot
Metallica- Invisible Kid (any metallica song really.)
Slipknot- Sic
Velvet Revolver- Slither

Hate Me Now - Nas
Amazing - Kanye West
Till I Collapse - Eminem
Hip-hop is Dead - Nas
Remember The Name - Fort Minor

Just the most recent ones I listened to. I usually put one song on repeat the whole time.

Battle Without Honor or Humanity - Tomoyasu Hotei
Emperor’s Theme - John Williams
Mars, The Bringer of War - Gustav Holst
Ride of the Valkyries - Wagner
