What they are locked in the basement, they couldn’t possibly escape on their own.

I have been in a house fire and in the moment that everything was burning i made sure the house was clear and went back in for my bulldog. i didnt find her and came back out for air and went back in. I went back in for my dog Nova 4 times before losing consciousness and being pulled out by the firedept. I have the scars up and down my one side and arm from it. Those of you who are firefighters i thank you for doing what you do.

As a dog owner, I salute you. I only wish your story ended with… All the time he/she was already outside. Sorry for your loss.

If you thought ahead, your bong would be in your car and the keys would be in your pants, which you would be wearing, so you would be free to take 3 other things.

Clearly you didn’t see what I posted as the second object I’d bring.
Great post, would lol again.
Fireproof safes really make this question kinda… not as hasty?
PC(monitor easily replaceable, PC case has handles so it’s easy to carry), autographed picture of Candlestick Park during a 49ers playoff game with a happy birthday message to me on the big scoreboard; signed by Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and others, and a Foam Roller!(jokes, but really I think I could live with everything else going down in the fire, wallet/phone/keys are either on me or within a hands grab to put in pockets at all times, anything else I could grab after the 1st 2 is just saving some stress.)
Wallet, my fav watch, and my grandfathers trunk. Everything could be replaced, and would be with a better version most likely.

All my Rush CD’s

Agreed, except for Hold Your Fire and Roll the Bones. Those two can burn. I’d probably let Power Windows and Presto smolder a little bit, hopefully melting off the crap and leaving the few good songs.
As for me,
1.) My cat. I have grown attached to the little cocksucker.
2.) My bass. Not the fish, the instrument.
3.) The souvenirs I have acquired from my travels.

haha - love your humour man. They don’t write them like they used to.
3 things - assuming my wife is safe
- My wallet - it’s a bitch to get the cards reissued again.
- My laptop for work - i don’t know how the fuck I’ll explain my work just burned down.
- My Rolex - well wouldn’t you?

I keep a “JET” bag with all insurance papers, list of best porn sites, drives with family pics and information on it near the door, just in case I have to jet out the front door. So my favorite Nikes and that bag.
I like to call it a GO bag. It’d be that, my wallet, and if within reach, my laptop w/hard drives (in a case together.) Then I would sit outside, light a cigar, and watch the beauty of the fire underneath the ever present stars.
Assuming my dog is out and my family wasnt home…
- Laptop-The essentials (Hardcore,Big Tits,DP,ect.,)
- My one pair of good jeans-Sure you can buy jeans but everybody has that one pair they love.
- Shoebox of Sentimental Items-Pictures and past girlfriends panties.

Thank you, but i guess i didnt end the story on a good note. My bulldog Nova was also saved by the firemen. it turns out she had snuck into my room and fell asleep on my bed under my covers and i had shut her in. with the door closed and her being under the covers the she was safe from the fire and smoke long enough for the firedept to find her. I thought for sure she was dead. i was laying in the ambulance as they checked out my burns as one of the firefighters carried her over and said look who we found. you cant imagine how happy i was to see her.
