Does yohimbe cause down-regulation of alpha receptors? I’ve read plenty about ephedra causing down-regulation of beta receptors, but I can’t find any info on this. Forgive me if this has been covered on the forums or an article early, but I could not find it. Thanks.
Yohimbe is actually an alpha-2 ANTAGONIST, not an AGONIST, like ephedra is to beta receptors.
So I would think that no, it would obviously not cause any receptor attenuation.
