You will strike a balance, I know it. If you can train for competition, you can certainly manage off season as well. I definitely sympathize though.
And just to remind you of the long lineage of figure athletes that you are now a part of - the beautiful Rachel McLish (who I’m sure also suffered from post-comp bloat).

WTF?! How come everyone’s boobs grow but mine?!
Hi OMO!!!
ps. saw your vix pic - I LOVE off season figure athletes ;)
I would be highly skeptical of the boob claims! What needs to be factored in is Victoria Secret’s vanity sizing timeline Seriously though, unless there was a baby involved, that sounds like absolute bullshit if you ask me.

Um, maybe I need to try the paleo diet then…my poor chest…lol!
Thanks Masch…I’m still feeling so…bloated and fat in comparison to the figure diet. I’ll strike a balance someday (fingers crossed). How’re you doing?
How does the measuring tape compare to how you’re feeling? You know, to put things into perspective. I know I get that bloated feeling and feel fat at times where if I give my head a shake I realize that’s ridiculous but it seems to be a side effect of returning to normal after leaning out a bit. (And I’ve never even become anywhere near contest lean)
Be careful to not get too hung up on being super lean because it’ll hurt you in the long run. This thing we do certainly does give us some unhealthy ways of looking at body fat, body image and how we handle food so make sure to keep things in check.
Or if you’re just grumbling because it felt nice to be that lean, I can understand that too
