Yawning

Howdy,

As a little run down, because of my schedule with school (wrapping up my bachelors this year) Im up for very long periods of time, even though I average about 7-8 hours of sleep per day.

At the gym, I find myself constantly yawning. I dont notice it really affecting my performance, except for sometimes I really have to focus on “getting my head in the game”.

Is this a bad thing? Ive thought about investing in some Spike. I just feel bad when I yawn. Like Im either not breathing right when I lift, or Im not working hard enough…anyone else ever experience this?

hahah weird sometimes I do that too.

I’m doing like 90% max and after I yawn, makes it look like it didn’t even phase me lol.

Doesn’t really affect my performance though, just a weird habit I suppose. Can’t really doing anything about it.

i yawn during HIIT runs, all the fucking time.

my guess is unless you feel tired, it’s a way for extra oxygen to get into your bloodstream … this could maybe come from not breathing properly during weights?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you yawn it means you lakc in oxygen throughout your body (especially your brain), and the yawning picks up for it.

However, I have not studied this at all; it is simply speculation

I believe it has something to do with your body seeking more oxygen. I notice the same thing when I have to sing a song in a very low note and I’m using up alot of air.

i blame the cardio people for using up all the oxygen. people running on treadmills, ellipticals, bikes…j/k

i have this happen to me too. i’m not even tired either
