Wrist Roller for Grip Strength

Thanks, that’s a good idea. In my gym, the only places for that would be the squat rack or the Smith machine. I suppose wrist rolling in the squat rack might be even more obnoxious than curling… I may give it a try today and see how much less weight I can handle than my usual way, i.e., how much I usually cheat.[/quote]

lol yeh probly so…im lucky enough to have a rack at home so i pretty much do everything in it so that doesnt cross my mind…but yeh maybe find another place instead of a squat rack haha…

While seemly counter-intuitive in my mind, sledgehammer work has turned my hands into the jaws of life. My grip strength has always been pretty good as my job consists of throwing around big chunks of metal and tightening/untightening stuff all day(I’m a machinist) . Since I started to incorporate sledgehammer work my grip strength has about doubled.

You might want to give it a shot. It kicks your ass, and it’s pretty damn fun too!
