A friend got me trying wrestling and I was wondering if anyone might know of any programs that’d be helpful to go along with wrestling?
What kind of programs? you talking weighttraining or some other martial art?

Hi! Wrestling is the sport that gives you potentialities which other sports can’t give you. And when you quit wrestling you can easy become good in boxing, weightlifting, gymnastics and other. Im a fighter from Bulgaria and i do wrestling,boxing and myai thai. For wrestling you must do three kinds of exercises:
1: Basic exercises like squat (front squat is better variant for me, because you work your core too and can become better in jumps, clean and other exercises), dead lift, bench press, military press, rows.
2: Bodyweight exercises: pull ups, dips, push ups, jump on box and other but pull ups, push ups and dips wrestlers must always do with weights.
3 Weightlifting exercises - thrusters (man makers), power clean, clean and jerk, power snatch.
And this kinds of exercises wrestlers piece together and do circles of 5 to 10 exercises with no rest between exercises and 1 to 3 minutes rest between circles. They to that because if you squat 10 times and then rest 10 minutes, you dont work on your endurance and will be same as throw your partner just 1 time and then rest.
