Wrestling Conditioning

Hey, I am a collegiate wrestler (D3) and was wondering what guys would recommend for conditioning. I have tried a variety of things and currently do things like Cosgrove’s complex, 400m sprints, sometimes DB swings and the occasional long run. I plan on trying to get a tire from the local junk yard and dragging a weighted sled. I figured I would ask and see what other people would recommend and think of this stuff.

What kinds of stuff do you guys recommend?

Hill runs, you can just sprint up the hill or mix it up with piggy back rides with a partner, bunny hops, lunges, go up backwards in your stance, wheel barrows, and firemens carries. & just whatever you do in the room (sprints, live wrestling, intense drilling, bear crawls, baby crawls.) Have fun. haha

Thanks. I went to the wrestling camps through the University of Minnesota (J Robinson 28 day camp)and we did a bunch of things like that… I appreciate you bringing them back to my attention. I assume by your picture that you wrestle?

I’ve heard of the J Robinson Camps. & yeah I wrestle, I’ll be a RS freshmen next year at Adams State. Anyways plate workouts are also great for wrestling.
