I thought this figure of 90% was ridiculously high so I asked my woman what figure she would use (she is very much an outdoor oriented person) and she guessed 50%. That still seems ridiculously high to me.
Either way, I would be appalled if it actually was either figure. If you two are right then it is a sad, sad world we live in.
Then again, maybe it has something to do with where I live and the type of men with which I associate… I just stopped and asked her if she would change her figure if we narrowed the question down to Montana men. She said her figure would be much lower if we did that. She said Montana men are definitely different on average compared to a cross section of men that she has met from around the United States.
With that in mind, Deb, is your figure based on men and/or experiences from across North America or would you stick with that 90% even if you were basing it on B.C. men?
If it was B.C. Man, I would put it at 0%.

I feel old, but not that old. ![]()
As well, the fact that my freezer is about three months full (or three months empty however you want to look at it that way) at the moment, I’d make sure the bear didn’t lay a claw on you, I’d even give you half the meat.
British Columbia. The people of Atlantic Canada (Maritimers and Newfoundlanders) are tougher.

I’m tougher than all of them combined…in my pinkie finger…that was cut off…in the Crusades…while riding a lion.

Maybe if they were faced with a giant lobster.
Ontario is the only livable province

Bring the F’in butter, eh! I got the boiler, eh!!!
Let’s put it this way. Atlantic Canada gets three feet of snow and we’re stuck in school. Everywhere else gets 2 inches and it’s cancelled.
The only thing we fear is that our kids will end up like people from the rest of Canada or (god forbid) the us.
Oh and we have a giant lobster.

Again you don’t know shit about Iowa wrestling, There are monsters in high school even at low weight classes.
Hell the 167lber at my school in 10th grade was benching 315x2. And our 139lb guy benched 225 for 3 reps. Want to step onto the mat with beasts like that?
What you don’t understand is the massive amount of weight Iowa wrestlers cut before a match. Sorry no girl is going to be able to cut like that.
112 pounds. Shes pretty lean. Those monstrous 120lbers cutting to 112 are gonna fuck her up!

Yeah, but everyone knows lobsters from Maine are superior.
If you want real men…come to the Midwest, were real men are born and raised. Where unless the doors are snowed shut, we got school. Or, come to Flagstaff, were the hippies and lumber jacks are tougher than you Atlantic Canadians, we can get five feet of snow and unless there is several major vehicular accidents, it is still deemed a school day, unless it’s after 1400 hours then you’re outta luck.

The parents just really held that kid back imo… religious reason huh ? I guess so people get lost in translation. She probably would of given him a good disrespecting anyway. lol
What is wrong with people, the guy did not want to wrestle. The girl and her father both respected his decision to not wrestle, and then she got pin falled by two lesser wrestlers than this kid. Yeah a real “disrespecting.”
Most of the people posting don’t understand Iowa wrestling, thus don’t understand just how good the guy who refused to wrestle her is.
Don’t need to understand Iowa wrestling. Iowa needs to understand North Eastern wrestling. The Appalachians are the long standing powerhouse in the sport.
I would just like to put forward that no american can beat someone from Atlantic Canada in a fight. Oh and our drinks make you scream and collapse.
Come to CT, we’ll show you how to wrestle and be tough! Just kidding, we’re just a bunch of assholes.

I gotta say that yall can be the biggest pansies though. I did wildland training up in Quebec and then more training back in Texas with the same group of like 30 guys. Over half were from were from Canada(some from BC, Ontario, Nova Scotia). I never seen guys wimp out of training down here due to “overheating”, “dehydration”, and my favorite “I dont feel good” in my life. The cold up there was a killer but I laughed it off with the others. But I gotta say this, yall love yall beer and its alot better than most of the U.S.'s. So lets just call that a tie!

There isn’t for this sport. Wrestling is an exception to the norm because of the weight classes in place. Skill can make up for a deficit in strength/speed as well (to a point). That is not the case in most sports.
Lol
Dont try to reason with him. He’ll tell you you cant read. Its difficult to talk to a person with the iq of a small rodent
hah. but your problem is that you dont reason. you start losing then resort to name calling. every time ive said you failed to read i have listed the reasons why. if you wanted to argue about those specific points, those threads were the place to do it. the fact that you would fail to address my points in other threads only to come on unrelated threads and make unfounded childish acusations i cant directly contradict because they lack any substance just makes you look like a little bitch.
you see how i did that? i sighted reason and a logical process to arrive at a conclusion, like i always do. you, on the other hand, spouted unsupported nonsense then made a wild accusation where you magically make up something and attribute it me. yeah, im the one with the low iq.
@TD45
lol
yeah, on threads like this i am.
