tell me what you think. to me it’s borderline and
could depend on the judges. this suit is making it areal
struggle to get down. maybe i need to put more weight
on it to be able to go down.
i would like to hear what you think…
thanks.

Go ahead Hanley, we all know what you’re gonna say…
well, did another session today, took a side angle.
i dont know what to tell you all, in this clip i’m sure
it’s good if it isnt then i need anew stance cause i cant
get any lower in this one.
by the way, hanley or anyone else that competed in the
WDFPF, i 'm thinking of going to the worlds in italy next year,
and maybe even the single event world in june.
how is the judging there?(as far as depth).
i’ll probably have some more Q’s as the meets get closer
regarding th WDFPF.
thanks.
buy the way, i dont see how that girl could have gotten a red light for depth, but you never know what goes on inside a judge’s mind…

Those where better – and from the video looked to be good. I would make another suggestion, make sure you lock you knees at the start and finish. Also if this is to be close to your opener, work with the straps up a time or two and tape that – it does make a difference in getting down ;-).

Those Squats looked better. With such a wide stance and with a suit, I’m a bit surprised that you don’t sit back a little more.
Right as you approach the deepest position it looks like you are letting your knees travel forward like a narrow stance squatter might, rather than sitting back into it like a wider stance squatter would. I think you’ll find it easier to hit depth if you sit back a little more. Just my .02. I’m a raw squatter, so what the hell do I know?
