Great job man. You really need to sit back, though! It will make hitting depth MUCH easier and you will get more out of the suit.
Ideally, your knees should not move forward at all. This may not always happen, but really concentrate on achieving that. Good job on keeping your knees out.
I think Firebug is right about locking your hips at the start and finish. Depth is hard to say here. You are somewhere close to parallel in both vids. But without a side video at knee height, it’s really hard to tell for certain.
thanks everyone for the comments.
masonator, i know i need to sit back more and it was even
worse when i started with the suit .
it threw me way forward.
i’m also planning on working alittle with the straps up
but i need shorten them first cause right now
they wre loose on me.
but thanks again everyone.
He’ll never get to the depth required for single ply competitions doing that. It might be ok in multiply where anything goes, but when you’re looking to break parallel you have to sit back AND down.
They wouldn’t pass in the WDFPF anyway. Things cna be quite strict with them. The judges are mostly old school guys.
I’ve heard nothing but bad things about Italian WDPFP competitions so all I can say is that I’d never travel over anyway. Buzz it over to Ireland in 2010 for the world champs. They should be well run!
i’m planning to go to italy anyway. i realy got the meet
bug back after alot of time. hopefully it’s enough time
to work on my depth. i dont see myself competing well
in anon tested meet.
irland at 2010 sounds great. it’s been a dream of mine to go to irland for along time regardless off meets.
about the gloves, tell me about it… you dont know how
much i hate seeing that.
thanks anyway guys
