Would Huckabee Make You Vote Democrat?

Consider this quote from Thomas Jefferson:

“If we were directed from Washington when to sow and when to reap, we would soon want for bread.”

And then consider that the government controls education.

Same principle.

Out of line.

Must be nice to be on the sidelines ALL THE TIME.

If your family member died, you wouldn’t be so cavalier with other people’s lives.

In summary, Rudy is the guy to shred radical Islam to tatters.

You vote for the “feel good” or “there’s nothing wrong” candidate.

I’ll take Rudy.

Would someone please tell me that this is fake?!
Even while it’s funny, I can’t laugh about it.

When I look at today’s western election process, I can’t help but wonder: How did it come to this? Why won’t we get any smarter?
The american presidential candidates are a bunch of sorry fools (save for one man with integrity and wits, whose opponents here never fail to point out his “flaw”: he won’t win).

Wanted to pop by and remind you that your opinion counts for nothing.

I’m serious: nothing.

When germany steps up to the plate and gets serious about combating radical Islam, maybe you’ll have a say.

As it is, back to the nursery as you are irritating the adults.

Serious question.

Yup. That’s why he’s the Brooklyn Duce (I didn’t coin it, sadly). Or, if you prefer, “a small man in search of a balcony.”

Who said there’s nothing wrong? Radical Islam is a threat, but not as serious as communism was and we beat that without having to shread the constitution.

So what will your precious drag queen do, open up another front? Isolate and drive your pampered Pakistan further into extremism? Declare a new neverending war?
Seriously, what will he do?

As if you’d be the president’s advisor. Funny, judging from the nonsense you post and the amount of shit he creates, you surely could be.

Germany is busy doing the real thing. Actively converting millions of turks and arabs to the western way of living. And of course, supporting the US and the UN in Afghanistan and beyond.
Again, put something on the table! What should Germany do?

Friend, there are so many differences between that enemy and this that I really don’t know where to start.

I’ll make a stab: The USSR didn’t champion martyrdom.

Think it through.

First, I have a feeling Rudy will kill bin laden. I would guess he would have played the Bhutto assassination very differently. I’ll bet he would have been on the phone with Mushareef privately and been a pseudo-spokesman publicly. This is the perfect cover for Mushareef to mount an attack on the uncontrolled province. With quiet help from the U.S.

Rudy would be telling him that Mushareef could assuage the opposition anger by hunting down and killing her murderer.

We’d be “happy to lend a hand.”

Second, I think Rudy would be a much more clever P.R. President than Bush. He has a grasp of the minutiae that gives him dignitas in the eyes of a european or a far left loon. He’s been a high ranking lawyer. He’s presided over a bastion of liberalism. To sum up, I’ll bet you Europeans would view him as a more “cultured” and “urbane” individual.

Part of the resistance to Bush (from europeans) is that your inferiority laden snobbery leads to you label him as an uneducated buffoon.

Instead of thinking through the issues, your mind freezes up at the image of a “Cowboy.” It’s the old story about attacking messenger.

It would be much more difficult for you to avoid thinking through the issues with Rudy as the spokesman.

Finally, I laugh when you use the Draq Queen line. Pretty funny coming from a european. Aren’t you guys the “tolerant” ones?

If you want to be taken seriously, you aren’t helping your case here.

Ok. Here are few recent things that have irritated Americans regarding Germany. These are things to avoid in the future.

http://www.heritage.org/Research/Europe/wm953.cfm
http://www.heritage.org/Press/Commentary/ed020607a.cfm

Here is what Christian Sachs, a spokesman for your Interior Ministry says about you and your pals’ understanding of the war and the means to win it: ??The German public has tried to stick its head in the sand, ignoring this dimension of this unorthodox war.??

Aka…Germany can wake up.

I will grant you that Germany has 3000 troops in Afghanistan. Since Merkel was elected, they’ve been talking tougher to iran. You can see by the link I sent that (at least) your politicians are waking up the the global threat.

I suppose the most important suggestion I can offer is for you (as in people just like you) to wake up to this threat. Stop bad-mouthing and insulting people as “war-mongerers” until you’ve digested the ramifications of a triumphant radical Islam.

In summary, your lukewarm view on the War on Terror is at odds with your current Government. I think they wouldn’t be so dismissive of Rudy’s ad nor his determination to destroy this vicious movement.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit bizarre that people are taking seriously a single issue candidate who has no relevant experience, education or background with that single issue? I would expect a guy running on a foreign policy and military platform to have some sort of background in those fields, in diplomacy or in something at least loosely related. What’s Giuliani’s background in foreign policy? Oh yeah, he “survived” 9/11 along with millions of others in Manhattan and DC and since foreigners were responsible for 9/11, clearly he understands the world in all its complexity. I’m sold.

Remind me where I accused the producers of falsehood. My point is that this commercial was playing entirely to fear of A-Rabs, which I think is pretty obnoxious and unbecoming a serious contender for the presidency.

I live within spitting distance of Kim Jong-Il. How does that put me on the sidelines?

How on earth do you read my statement “I thought only terrorists used fear as a political weapon” as being cavalier with people’s lives?

Wasn’t aware there was a “feel good” or a “there’s nothing wrong” candidate, and I wouldn’t vote for him, anyway. There is something seriously wrong in America, I agree. But in my opinion, Giuliani will only exacerbate it, not fix it.[/quote]

Please do. I hope you take him far away.

Hmmm…and going to Vandenberg…

Anchorage is a great town, beautiful scenery.

Montani semper liberi.

I agree. You’ve gotta love a state that’s bigger than England, France, Spain and Italy combined, with a population less than that of Rhode Island.

Not a bad place for “Galt’s Gulch” (or “Varq’s Vale,” rather), what say you?

Who IS John Galt? ;D

I’d rather work at Vandenberg anyway than at Langley…all that underground NSA stuff…freaky to work underground…

I can’t vote for Huckabee.

First reason, his “Fair Tax” idea is ridiculous. In theory it sounds good, but from my understanding, it is essentially Reagan’s “trickle down” economics in drag. The ultra rich get even richer and the middle class take it in the ass. It does really help the poor. . . Helps them to become middle class so they can be taxed to death.

Second reason, and this one is not fair but I’m an asshole and I don’t really care, is that his family is not what I want to see in the WH. Exhibit A:

I just can’t vote for that mess to be put into the WH. I thought vertical stripes were supposed to be slimming. WTF? I’m not in the best shape ever, but the image that his family would broadcast to the rest of the world is unacceptable.
