Same but 2 is ronnie, 5 IS sergio, 6 is Mr. Haney. That was fun SteelyD!

I’ll agree with you on Sergio and 6 is definitely Haney but i stand by number 2 being Toney.
As for the silhouette tests (great job, SteelyD!), I dare us to ask friends and family. I doubt even the Arnold would get recognized. Sure, people who follow this will recognize Kai

Of course when someone like Branch Warren comes in MOST conditioned still looks like an unbalanced grouping of bodyparts otherwise and still makes the top 6, I could see how that system needs to be re-worked.

Exactly. This is what made Zane win at all, ever: proportions. This is what BBing should be about. I really couldn’t care of Ronnie vs Jay. Once Flex(best ever IMO) lost to Ronnie, I lost interest in the beef race.
I do wonder how would Arnold’s arms look like with today’s drugs…
Striations were always coveted. its just that now they can achieve it.

Does anyone else feel that Arnie was a step down from Sergio Oliva?

It was all politics and Weider trying to sell more magazines. Also, Oliva was notoriously difficult to deal with. He was the greatest bodybuilder at the time, and he knew it!

Sergio Oliva couldn’t hold a candle to arnold. lets get real here. My, how soon we all forget who the greatest of all time is. Don’t let recent bad arnold press sway you from the truth. Arnold was bigger and more defined than sergio ever was. [/quote]
Making this statement clearly illustrates how your perceptions are colored by everything Arnold achieved aside from actually being objectively judged onstage. It further adds to the notion that you may not fully understand the criteria physique contest judges are ‘supposed’ to adhere to. There’s a reason why guys like Rick Wayne and other notable authors and editors of Arnold’s era will nowadays openly discuss all the machinations that truly led to Arnold “beating” Sergio despite not actually having the superior physique. To say Arnold was ‘bigger’ is laughable. Perhaps you simply meant to state that he was taller? -lol.
Also, aside from Sergio, Arnold never really had any real competition in the majority of his Olympia wins. Guys like Zane nad Nubret? No size. Franco? Too short and his arms were too much of a noticeable liability. Ferrigno? Never showed up in shape. Despite weighing more, he never made the most of his larger stature and wasn’t even close to Arnold onstage.
Oliva was banned by Weider (competed in a non-IFBB show!) for the majority of Arnold’s domination. Most people don’t realize this (although I’m certain Chris Colucci can chime in with more info if anyone cares).

no way is 2 the GOAT, it’s Toney.
