Its not like he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in accounting or anything…
He speaks like many people do in the south. I am not sure why people think he is an idiot because of his speech considering what he has accomplished.
That scenario where some skinny kid asks him tons of extremely pseudo-scientific questions is hilarious…in that the true dummy in that situation is the kid who thinks he is so smart yet can’t grow.
Ronnie is very smart,
I read up on him and if i remember right,I know he was a police officer.
and he graduated Cum Laude from college.
I heard someplace the saying
I may speak slow, but sure as hell dont think slow
this applies to him perfectly I think.
You beat me too it. I was going to point out his being a former police officer as a counter to the claims he isn’t smart. They generally don’t let morons become police officers.

morons, no you have to have some sort of smarts.
but around here because of the cities growth they are letting anyone get a crack at being an officer.
if you have a clean record and can pass a polygraph your in.
if you recently served military you are a shoe in.
I have met alot of 22-23 yerar old kids back from iraq no more than a few months in sherrifs uniforms and havent hadt he time to adjust back to civy life, and they are running around with an elitest attitude, maybe they will be good officers in a few years but right now I wish I could slap the hell out of some of them.
whats worse is the attitude of being holier than thou is encouraged in these parts.
but no your statement is true you have to pass tests and these tests are not friendly to people that are stupid.
Wasn’t Ronnie working as an accountant and then joined the police because “Accounting was great back at CL, but as a job, it was the same stuff over and over and no challenge.” (quoted from bad memory…)
Also, Ronnie’s full-time police days were quite some time ago…
If you think that Ronnie is a moron, maybe have a look at what you yourself have accomplished thusfar.

That’s actually not that outrageous a price. I can imagine some of the posters here picking Ronnie’s brain, though…
T-Nation Guest: Umm yeah hi Mr. Coleman. Question about oats. In terms of enhancing insulin sensitivity and keeping glycemic load low, which would you recommend for the 160 pound bodybuilder…Large Flake oats, or Large Flake Steel Cut Oats?
Ronnie: Ya…umm…chitlin’s and ribs baby!! Slathered in BAAAA-beque sauce!! That there is home-cooked growth food right there baby!!
T-Nation Guest: That was helpful, thanks. Onto training. In lieu of deadlifting, squatting and benching I am into week 6 of a teres minor/sartorius double isolation program. I just can’t get that darned sartorius up to standard. Any tips?
Ronnie: Ya…tip…get under the bar and lift baby!! Heavy-ass weight!! I don’t know nothin’ about no sarbinicus muscle. Squat baby!
LMFAO
That had to be one of the best posts I have ever read in my life!
RC has trained at Metroflex gym in Arlington, which is open to the public. I’v seen him there once or twice. He is pretty cordial and will say hello. In fact he’s nicer than many bodybuilders that do the local shows.
He once was a police officer for the city of Arlington, they require a bachelors degree just to apply. What’s up with the hate?

funny that the site says it was updated tomorrow. but sounds like a good deal, although i wounder if it would end up being a lot of people.
Muscular Development has had two articles where a writer/bodybuilder would follow a group of about 5 people on these trips. Each one has been pretty damn interesting and everyone who attends seem to enjoy it. He basically lets you live with him for a few days even though you sleep at the hotel. He took one group to church with him on Sunday and his mom cooked for the guys.

People who achieve the least in life always have the most shit to talk about those who stand out.
I could be wrong but it would seem Ronnie is past the weekends of doing guest poses or traveling. I am sure he is set for life at this point from all his endorsements. This seems like a promotional adventure if anything.

So true Prof X. I have been reading your posts for quite some time and you always say it right out. This world is full of those who can’t accomplish anything but to pull those who achieve down. Such is a world being led into mediocrity.

This deal is worth well over $750 in my opinion.
He still regularly guest poses and does work for the company that sponsors him… those pay checks don’t earn themselves haha.
Seems like a damn good deal to me, youve got to figure that if you arent staying in a sleazy hotel, then at least 200 of that is for hotel, another 50-75 would be for food, you really aren’t paying that much for two training sessions with a 7 time Mr. Olympia winner.

He was on NB Radio Monday night…he does the camp at a loss. The maximum participants is 25, all you pay for is flight and package cost. You are fed every three hours at various restaurants. I will make it a point to attend one of his camps before he’s done. No matter how you slice it, you’re getting a bargain.
